"This place is a joke. Who runs medical office in this manner? Never received phone calls back after two months of receiving email that my insurance approved my machine. The phone number you call goes to an off-site office not even in Reno, but told every time some guy will call me back. Never even a message returned. Two months? My sleep doctor said they would call them and still no return. Can't use Covid/ lack of employees for an excuse after that long. Will be turned in to board of medicine for insurance fraud and patient neglect. Steer clear of this place if you are referred. What a joke."
"Whenever you need a refill on a prescription it takes a week of phone calls. PMA says they sent the script, the pharmacy tells me they haven’t received it. PMA doesn’t return my phone calls and when you call the # listed on their website you are informed it is disconnected. Calling Renown you will be transferred to voice mail and the box is always full. It is very frustrating. I don’t have problems when my primary care physician, my dermatologist or my podiatrists prescribes meds. PMA somehow doesn’t get it."
"Went 4 times saw 3 different Dr.s and a nurse practitioner. Nurse practitioner said I needed. blood work gave me a form and off I went. Got blood drawn then got a bill for $5000+ for blood test. When I complained as I should be told of a $5000 cost prior to the test, I was sent to an answering machine, no return call ever. I called again demanded to speak to someone in charge. I was told to come in and meet with senior dr. At appointment he looked at my bill, my blood results and said he was going to talk to nurse practitioner. He returned said gave me my blood results. Then tried to sell me on his overnight sleep center. After I complained to my insurance the bill was reduced to a reasonable amount. Four appointments, four different people, thousand in bills, duplicate charges on bill that nobody will assist with. Left messages with phone number on bill to ask about duplicate charges, no return call. Refused to pay bill, sent to collections, spoke to Matt at collection agency who laughed said " they never call back" and I must pay within 5 days or else. My opinion better to have breathing problems than to have stress of this place and breathing problems. I will not go back."
"If you need help please find a place that truly will help you. THIS PLACE WILL NOT!!!! My husband went here from a referral from our ear nose and throat doctor. Took a long time to get in. Never got our results! The doctor never explained the who what when and why of his findings. We had a c pap machine company call trying to bring over a machine that we never needed. I asked for the results but never got them. The messed up our address, the only reason we got them is because I talk to the nice man who delivers my mail for the last few years. Also the house is a rental with the last residents recently vacated. He suggested I fix the address before new people move in. Which I did called twice to get it fixed, and in writting. Cashed my check and never fixed it. I had a question about the billing process and the insurance; was told they would look into it. Two years one month later from the date my first payment was made I get a robot call saying I owe this money. I figured they double checked my insurance and it was all taken care of. I spoke to some so called billing manager. All I wanted to know was why it took 2 years to contact me. Refused to answer, but instead blamed me. Telling me bills just don't go away! Would interrupt everytime I would try to talk. The only reason I got the robot call was because after two years it was finally going to collections. They never fixed the address! Never looked in to my original billing question! That manager called me a lier saying that every call coming in is notated on the account. Quickly changed the subject on how bills don't go away when I said I could prove it could she. Trust me go somewhere where they treat you like you matter instead of just saying it."
"This is about scheduling, not physician care. I was instructed to get a sleep study test and then reschedule with the pulmonary physician. My original appointment was cancelled. I was rescheduled a month later. At this appointment, the doctor told me I needed a Cpap machine and to schedule to see her in 6 - 8 Weeks to follow up. It took me 9 weeks to finally get my machine. The equipment people kept saying that they hadn't received Doctor orders and the doctors office said that they had faxed orders. I cancelled the doctors appointment that I had scheduled because it was so the doctor could review the efficiency of the machine that I had not yet received. When I got the Cpap, I called to reschedule. The office didn't return my calls. When I did reach them they said that the first available appointment would be in 4 months. I did not reschedule."
