"This is a statement from my son who attended ATI: I am writing to formally lodge a complaint against an instructor in the HVAC program, whose conduct has significantly impacted my learning experience and emotional well-being. This instructor has repeatedly exhibited unprofessional behavior, including the use of derogatory language, outright ignoring questions related to the HVAC coursework, and employing sarcasm in a manner that undermines my efforts to learn and participate in class. This issue is not solely a personal grievance; it has created an unwelcoming and hostile learning environment. Other students seem to have noticed this behavior, with some passively accepting it and others actively endorsing it, further isolating me within the classroom setting. Such behavior is not only detrimental to my educational journey but also fosters a negative atmosphere that affects the overall learning environment. The instructor's antagonistic approach, especially when I seek clarification on HVAC-related topics, directly contradicts the principles of respect, integrity, and professionalism that I believe our institution stands for. Education is meant to be a collaborative and respectful exchange between teachers and students, and unfortunately, this has not been my experience. I urge the administration to take immediate action to address this matter. It is vital for the academic integrity of the HVAC program and the welfare of its students that all instructors maintain a high standard of professional conduct."
"I am speaking on the behalf of the PFT program. The program the school provide have amazing coaches called coach Obi, coach Chris, and coach Ray. Each of them have their own niche and unique teaching styles that engage the students into learning and perfecting their craft. I have learned all of my skills from these wonderful professionals. Even after I have graduated, they still help me as much as they could to help me with my success."
"The most important decision I made in my life. I don’t only like my job, but I love my job as an HVAC Technician. The entire staff was there every step of the way. Keith Thompson has a way of making the information sink in by drilling it in you with laughter and common sense! Haha those were the good ol days! I will remember this time forever in my life. Thanks ATI staff for all you do :)"
"Started off with zero experience and knowledge. The program is about 9 months long, I'd say 8 months in I was offered a full time career position in Commercial refrigeration. I definitely learned a lot. The instructors are well experienced and deliver information not just from a book, but there background as well. One of the key things for me was hands on. If I can touch it, tinker with it, or break it, I'll learn faster that way. You have plenty of opportunity to get hands on, even the instructor prefer hands on approach as much as they can. Of course they have rules, they have to follow, and there are days where it's just from the book, even then they will bring items and tools so you can understand. The classes are pretty small, around 8-12 people so you don't feel left out and it's always good to ask questions. But most of the students are there just like yourself, to learn something, get a career started, Or get your credentials. The school also has flexible time from morning class or night class 5:30pm-10:30pm. Overall it's a great place to start, you just have to dedicate yourself. Its not easy, especially if you're work, and or have a family. Don't give yourself anther reasons not to go, because the years at your job you've spent you'll regret not going earlier. The instructor, counselors, financial aid, even the career services will help you out. The career service go above and beyond to make sure you get a career job. They will help you out on your resume, set up interviews, help you on how to approach a interview, and even after you finish school they will check on you to see if your still happy where you are, or will still help you get a job. Even during class they may stop by and ask or inform people that certain companies are hiring, and they will help you as best as they can. Again the school has the resources and knowledge to help you. Give them your time and it will be we'll worth it. Of course there not perfect, they lack materials, and sometimes not all the equipment is functional. You'll find some students may not be as enthusiastic or wanting to be there, which will affect you especially if your group together. Essentially the school is a great place to learn and achieve something. I spent 10 years at a job I wasn't happy about, but I became to comfortable. I even put off going to the school, because of that and making excuses. Something click maybe it was my newborn or my future I tend to think about. But I just finally went to the school and started. It was a lot more fun then I though especially since I haven't been in school for over 9 years. I chose the Hvac program, since leave my last job and starting this career, it feel better, the security is there, money is there, and most importantly I enjoy it."
"ATI is a top tier career school. I enjoyed my time there and I would recommend it to anyone seeking a career school."
