Reviews
"I have come to Broadway kids for a bit and it is where I feel most welcomed. It is what I look forward to everyday. Aladdin was my favorite one to be in, as I was Princess Jasmine."
"My daughter is a student here and she absolutely loves it! It's a 2 hour commitment every week and you have to be comfortable dropping off and picking up as there's no place to wait. But this is her second time and it's her favorite extra curricular."
"As a CHILD i experienced blatant homophobia and intolerance at this place, which is unacceptable. I was told by the lead director of Seussical when i was in the fifth grade that I was acting "too flamboyant," and that is a direct quote. I wasn't even allowed to audition for roles that were not male (my assigned sex.) I was told I couldn't sing the song Poor Unfortunate Souls from The Little Mermaid at a showcase, and was told by a staff member to sing a song from Shrek to "challenge myself." In other words "no, that's too gay." As a young gay man, I found home in something that I created for myself (theater) and was shamed and mocked and disrespected by religious adults. To be fair, this is the place I found my love for Theater and tapped into my inner power, but there is no excuse for shaming a child for being gay."
"Spectacular academy for our future thespians! Our daughter attends here and they allow the children space to create and live out their dreams of the arts. The staff is patient and kind and only puts on 1st class production."
"The staff treat all the kids with respect and make everyone feel special. My son has truly benefited from his attendance here. All the kids get a chance to participate in things and there is no such thing as "bully" here. It truly is not tolerated BY THE KIDS or the Staff."
