"This school sucks I wouldn't recommend sending your child here because ur child will be suspended for the littlest things, tons of fight/threats here. School doesn't do anything till you say your sueing them then they will do something about the bullying, principal taton doesn't care about your child onlycareso about being pain and paying there empolyes. Doesn't care about the students being sexually harrassed each day, they will just tell your child to deal with it because it's life Again I don't recommend sending ANY of your KIDS here"

"To be honest this school is not worth your time at all. The kids here are super trashy and the administrators are ridiculously mean. They also have tons of stupid rules like, you can’t stand up at lunch, they practically scream in your ear if you’re not sitting down. Which isn’t fair considering they don’t let us go outside during lunch, making us cramped in a lunch room with not a lot of tables, so sorry if I can’t find a seat! Also the teachers aren’t great at all! Most of them just hand you a worksheet about something they didn’t teach you and expect you to turn it in by the end of the period! No wonder all the students here are depressed! (me included) And if you’re thinking of coming to this school for the magnet program don’t! The magnet kids are just as stupid and idiotic as the zoned kids! The only difference is the magnet kids are pressurized way more than the zoned kids! In the end of the day this school is not worth any stars or anyone’s time! Don’t go to this school, there are tons of others that are way better than this hell hole!"

"I have encountered many issues in my time at Cashman, but none of these are with the school, rather than the the students. Students in general are disrespectful to teachers, other students, and school property, but not all of them. And, I am struggling in my Algebra class because my teacher isn’t really teaching us. We just read the lessons and figure it out by ourselves online. However I am definitely learning a lot through the amazing AMSE program and love all my teachers, so if you’re looking for a great Academy of Math, Science, and Engineering this is the place. Also, the orchestra program is FABULOUS. But of course, the students here can be mean, but toughen up and you won’t even notice it. So overall, Cashman isn’t a terrible school. It’s not exactly clean or housing a kind student body, but I it :)"

"Personally as a student, the school would give us hard material and expect us to know it by the ends of the week just like high school does in it's classroom. But there are a few things I would like to say about Cashman Middle School. 1) Bullying. Bullying happens a lot in the school Why do you think that there are many fights in the school? Because one person kept saying stuff about one another. No matter how many times people write bully reports, no one would respond or care. 2) Teachers In my experience,I have had a fair share of bad teachers. especially my science classes. In 7th grade science, I have learned NOTHING! I am pretty sure you know who I mean. I mean last year, our AMSE girls science class would constantly report our teacher about telling us about her personal life, religion, etc.. It's just really unhealthy for our classroom. What I like about the teachers are that they would give us life lessons. Cashman has pretty high standers. I am very impressed about the education that I have received. If you are looking to go to school that is rich with math, engineering, and science, than this school is a good school. P.S I gave my honest opinion, that is all that matters."

"If I could give this school 0 stars I would. I've had two decent teachers during my time here at Cashman Middle School. The rest were horrible. Kids are expected to learn something from the book, the notes that teachers give are weak and pointless, and the way the staff handles punishments are ridiculous. Kids are rpced for MEMES, face repercussions for the work of others, and are constantly made fun of by the teachers. Also, there are fights like every day. People are rowdy, the environment is just not suited to be considered a learning ground. And, the way this school handles the problems within its student body is just, to be frank, stupid. Kids are constantly bullied, and the teachers turn a blind eye to it. When kids report bullies, they never hear back from the administration. And, in all honesty many students don't feel safe in Cashman. Most kids feel as if they're being restricted because of stupid rules. It isn't a nice growing environment. Also, some of the punishments are harsh. The people that handle problems aren't fair and won't listen to your side of the story. For example, about tbout seven kids got rpced for MEMES. They didn't do anything. There were multiple fake and hate accounts posting negative things about the teacher, and the kids that got the punishment had little to do with it. This school is unfair, "ghetto" , and the staff isn't the best. I don't suggest sending your kids to this school. It might be the "top magnet school in the nation," but it certainly doesn't live up to its title."
