"My daughter is a new student. It is day three and they denied my daughter lunch.. I think this is a problem there is no way you should ever deny food to a child This school has had problems with janitors touching kids. I think that this school could use some restructuring our kids are our future I will be contacting congress. I already don't like this school"

"In my experience, Tarkanian is a great school. It has dedicated teachers, who actually care about their students, an amazing learning enviornment, and aligns itself with programs that have very meaningful morals and messages, such as the Mason Grace Project, which works to end teen suicides. I have been attending Tarkanian for the past year, and I couldn't imagine going to a different school. The only unpleasant thing I have to say about this school is that some of the rules are pretty strict, such as the tardy lockouts. Overall, though, I think Tarkanian is the best choice for middle schoolers."

"The reality of it all is that every school has it's issues. My kids love the school and are involved in some great programs. No school is perfect, even private schools, yes there are fights but the school is making every effort to adjust monitoring and make arrangements to ensure safety of students. There are over 1,000 students here and the school continues to grow. I think this is just a learning/growing curve. I see reviews of teachers being rude and there is only one teacher that I don't think has been great for my son. I give the teachers credit for handling classrooms full of teenagers!"

"Teachers and staff seem qualified. The school is well maintained, but the AC seems to break a lot. This school does not have a large venue for large events. The bleachers in the gym are kid-sized and very uncomfortable for parents."
