"Since Fall school season started back up on Monday Aug 9th, this school has created the worst traffic jams ever! This is due to the fact that they have implemented a new system where you must line up in cars and drop off one by one, slowly, during a pre-set small window of time. Each child goes inside individually (worst system I've ever seen)! Parents not able to park or walk up! They also implemented an ‘app’ system for picking your child up! Children stay inside until parent arrives and uses app (while behind the wheel, mind you), in which the child is retrieved FROM INSIDE, which takes so much time!! WHY?? They MUST change this, to inconvenience your students parents is one thing, but to cause back up of traffic on streets & 215 for everyone else is another!!"

"Not a school , a testing center. No heart for kids just used as data mining recipient to keep their unjustified high ratings. They have parents vote for the school for a whole month everyday to maintain the hype. They give kids an average of 60 assignments per week, have periods online of 2h30 minutes! As remote as it can be from an actual school. Instructors seem inexperienced and use bought material and are happy burrying kids under assignments and test them every Friday. This is not education but a system designed to maintain the staff employed while keeping the kids hostage of this deficient system: Tests results are directly linked to ratings and budgets. The teaching not being done it falls on parent's laps and we often spent many nights until 11pm or more to help our kid complete the insane number of assignments. In other words we (the parents) work hard to pay their salaries!"

"It's OK .. if you either zoned to a unsafe school or can't afford a private school. Otherwise, don't believe the hype. This school is not going to get you to Harvard. Hundreds of students crammed into a tiny facility. Limited supplies. Unlicensed/inexperienced teachers. Staff changed/replaced each year. No real clubs. Languages are not taught in the elementary school. Constant requests for money. Few school trips. Now ... there are some positives. Generally good kids from hard-working emigrant families. Dedicated teachers. Great playground. Short pick-up lines. Whatever ... it's still a government-sponsored school obsessed with the CC and testing testing testing. At the same time, it's a business ... that is all about saving on the payroll. Terrible combination! I hear that other charters maybe better. I hope so."

"My son received a low grade the first quarter and had a notable lack of ambition. We met with Nicole Moreno (Language Arts teacher) to discuss potential methods of improvement. She was extremely inspirational and was able to motivate his ambition again. He stays after school every Tuesday in her class until he is back to par with his grades. At home I am delighted and surprised to see this new love of writing in his life. He is now turning his stories into theatrical sketches for fun. The world needs more teachers like her. The effect a teacher can have on your child can be life altering. I love this school for being reactive to the students needs in such a positive light. Instead of casting your child aside for bad grades your child will receive the attention he or she needs by meeting with the teacher, staying after school for additional tutoring and showing the counselor that you are reaching those goals."

"Coral Academy is an amazing institution that puts the children's education above all else. The entire staff is extremely helpful in all matters and is always available. The open door policy of the principal and the rest of the staff make handling any situation, no matter how big or small, extremely easy. My fiancee and I are going through a custody battle for my soon to be step-son so it makes for a very delicate situation that the school has been extremely accommodating with. The teachers and administrators realize this is a difficult time for my step-son and go out of their way to make the transition as easy as possible for him. I would recommend this school to any parent that wants nothing but the best for their children."
