"My family has been going to this lake every spring break for several years now. Its really fun to bring a camping trailer or even pitch a tent. We have had so many great memories here, and we continue to make more. Campsites are always clean, gate people are always super friendly, and the lake is a wonderful place to watch a sunset, run floats on the water, or go pole and reel fishing. There's so much wildlife around in the nearby woods like deer (sometimes you can see them at dusk in the fields), squirrels, raccoons, all kinds of birds, its absolutely wonderful. This place is also very dog-friendly! And most people who camp here respect the suggested curfew of about 10-10:30 pm, meaning that's when we all have to stay quiet until morning. It's a wonderful place to stay and I wouldn't want to go anywhere else."

"We love this campsite! It is the perfect spot for families to stay. Always a clean site to stay with whatever we need, the grill and firepit and whatever hookups and electric you need for an rv or tent camping. The bathhouse and restrooms are always clean and well maintained. Close to the playground, a safe place for kids to ride bikes and walk around, has a little beach spot for in the summer, has a hiking trail, has boat ramps and not too far off from the spillway or quick store run if you forgot anything."

"This park is full of pleasant surprises. There is a huge herd of deer in the park, the fishing is phenomenal and the sunsets are amazing! The campsite is very nice. We will definitely be back ❤️"

"We spent 4 days and 3 nights at this park and WILL return. Our camping spot was fantastic and flat, but in driving around we saw several that were uneven and/or very broken. Some spots are right on top of the neighbors, but we were on the end towards a point so had a TON of nature around us. Our site included 30 amp electricity, water, a level concrete pad, a fire ring, concrete picnic table, grill, and a table next to the grill - all for $23 a night!!! Neighbors were super friendly. The park hosts were helpful. There are maps at the front gate - be sure to grab one! We couldn't swim during our visit in June 2021 because the lake was 12 FEET high and the swimming area and boat launch were closed due to flooding. The playground was open with a lot of kids enjoying themselves. Sometimes the devil is in the details - and the dump station really told me a lot. The drain pipe is a little small so my sewer hose easily overwhelmed it... BUT the dump point is in a small concrete pit which easily contained every drop of overflow until the pipe could catch up. There's also a super-strong water faucet that made it easy to rinse away the bits that remained behind. Instead of having a mess and floaters rolling down the drive, we had a fast and clean time emptying our holding tanks."
