"Catfish was cooked perfectly so crisp and flakey and seasoned nicely. Lemon pepper season and mild sauce was amazing on the fish. I'm usually not a sauce type of person but that mild sauce, Oh la la la! I truly enjoyed my lunch."
"We were unable to get chicken breast, they were out. So we settled for wing dinners. We also ordered the catfish, perch, shrimp combo, and fried mushrooms. All the meats were delicious and seasoned to perfection (not too salty). The food traveled well it was still crispy when we arrived home, with the exception of the fries. The fried mushrooms were a disappointment...it appeared as if they were fried and refried. Our leftovers heated up well in the air fryer the next day. I definitely will be back."
"So...I'm from Chicago and I love Harold's Chicken. It's probably one of the best chicken restaurants in my home town. But this place is consistently inconsistent. I don't know if the people don't care about the food or what but I don't think I will be back here anytime soon. I spent over 45 dollars for a wing combo, a catfish and wing combo and a bottle of mild sauce and while the chicken was fresh and tasty the fish was hard and overcooked and the fries were dry and tasted like they had been sitting around for hours. I asked for lemon pepper and got no seasoning whatsoever on anything. That meal was a slap in the face when all I wanted was a small taste of home. And I think that this is the worst of the 6 times I've been here. Again I will not be back. I will wait until I go back to Chicago! Also...the young lady at the counter is seemingly in a perpetual bad mood...do better!"
