"Speaking to the previous comment regarding unqualified teachers, let me assure you that all of the teachers at SGCS are fully licensed and qualified. The kindergarten teacher, in particular, holds both a Bachelor’s and a Master’s degree; the latter of which is in Literacy Studies. Additionally, this being a small school, I sincerely doubt that any injury, serious or not, would have gone unnoticed or undocumented. My son has been at SGSC since kindergarten and is now excited to be in the 4th grade. We have had 4 fabulous years at this wonderful school already, and we are delighted to be back for a 5 year. From the caring and dedicated faculty, staff, and clergy, to the excellent curriculum, you won’t find a better school in the valley. We are thankful to have found such a wonderful school for our son!"

"Daughter has done very well there since moving from the northeast"

"My wife and I toured this school for our two children. We got a very good first impression of the facilities, (excellent tour by Brother Jude). We were sold on it, we paid for registration and assessments, and that is where it all started going down hill. I cannot speak for the teachers, but the administration staff at this school is really bad, including the principal who was never available to explain/advice us on our 4 year old daughter low score on her assessment. We had to call many times, left messages each time and nobody cared. The preschool building was not ready, we could not get updates. They told us that our daughter scored too low to be admitted,(they waited over a month and only told us because we pushed them) even though we were told by 2 other people that the test would not disqualify anyone. And we just wasted a lot of time (and money) hoping that somebody would call us back. With such important decision, and the number of options, we decided to find another school, I would not send my children here even it was free. I am happy I discovered this before my children started attending this school. Watch out for the VIP treatment before you become a customer, and the DMV treatment after you are one."
