"So far this school year has been less than expected. First the school took a long time to resolve a bullying problem with a student that was terrorizing my son. As things get worse, my son suffers a fall and the school FAILED to call me directly. When i picked up my son i was shocked and angered as to why his face has multiple abrasions, his teacher said oh we tried to call you, (BS). I spoke to a person which i assume is the school nurse. When i asked her why i didn't get a call, i got a series of incompetent reply's, guessing at which number they called. I listed myself as the primary contact and they still called my unreachable wife. They didn't call the emergency contact which is grandma. They even had my number but still for some reason they failed at the simplest task. On the same day i called to speak to the Vice Principal and requested a call back, guess what no call and its now the next day. You MAY want to consider taking your child for a better education experience and invest in their future and go to a private school. It makes me laughing seeing all the 4 and 5 star reviews, and makes me wonder...."
"Most of the teachers that I interacted with are nice. There are three Audie's in the front office that give the appearance of being friendly. Glanda is nice but Carol is not helpful or friendly at all. Each time I've interacted with her i get the feeling the I irritate her. She is always snuddy and unapproachable. She ignores me and has even gotten smart with me. I'm not comfortable when I go to the school. I've had the unfortunate opportunity of trying to resolve a matter with Mrs Leatherman, principal. Not good vibes with this schools office administrative staff."
"I'm a graduate at this school and it's been almost three years since I was in fifth grade. I'm in seventh now.. But, this school was pretty good. I loved our recess, even though I always went in their mini forest with my friend and sat down on the trees benches, just simply talking.. I recommend this school for thy youngins, it was a good five years here for me. Sure it will be a good five for your kid."
"All of the teachers are very nice and friendly and the food is pretty good and they have vending machines for kids one for drinks and another for snacks all the specials are cool and great and their are teams to join for school like basketball, dance, cheer, news crew and exc."
"I'm a retired elementary school. I now oversee 37 after-school clubs in southern NV. Students at Ernie May E.S. have been the MOST POLITE, WELL-MANNERED students of all! Amazing! They must be doing something right! L."
