"We shared a Cesar salad, it was very good with no croutons. We had the filet mignon and the steak frites. Pardon my spelling. Everything was excellent. The service, the food… Excellent. Just go and experience going back in time with the background music that they play there as you have dinner in a very small venue, which made it all the more special."

"The food was good and the people were very friendly. The menu was extremely limited for me as the restaurant was essentially a steakhouse, and there were very few offerings for a vegetarian. The waitress recommended the Mac and cheese and the garlic fries. The Mac and cheese was tasty, but I wish she would have warned me about the portion size. This was a side dish designed to be shared by the table. It was huge. The portion of fries was the same. My wife had the salmon again and enjoyed that, as she had before. The hotel, restaurant, and bar areas are just beautifully decorated in antique furnishings. The old vault section of the hotel is set up as a small museum featuring the history of the hotel, and there are pictures of celebrities with old, canceled, personal checks scattered throughout the corridors."

"Alex (bartender) was the best ever… we chose to eat at the bar for the service (!) but ordered from the Jack Dempsey menu…. Quick and delicious! Chicken Piccata was perfect! Also had a steak with creamed spinach… fabulous!!! Date night is coming but maybe leave with a full tank of gas… well worth it!"
