"One of the best ribeye steaks I’ve had. Overall meal was excellent top to bottom. Fries were perfect. Side salad with beans on top - what the waiter called Basque traditional - turned out pretty good too. Great service. It is also cool to be in a historic building."

"Yes, my son and I drove here from California for dinner. Partly tradition and partly because it is worth it. The food is great but the whole experience is the must-do. Family style service with way too much food but too good to pass up. If you are anywhere nearby - be sure you don’t miss out."

The food was incredible and the tastes were diverse. We will be back in Winnemucca just so we can eat here again!"

"On a road trip and decided to stop for lunch. Since it was about 2pm, it wasn't crowded. Fantastic old-fashioned Inn. Great bar. I was shocked when the beer delivery showed and they opened a trap door in the floor behind the bar. It was an old cellar. Kind of a cool thing to have. Service was great. The wife ordered a French dip. It came with a side and soup or salad. I ordered a lamb shank. We both ordered mashed potatoes and a salad. The French dip was a little on the chewy side. She said that the meat was sliced just a tad too thick. Oh well, it sure looked good. The lamb shank was pure perfection. Lots of garlic and fall-off-the-bone tender."
