"The staff treats customers like they are thieves. When my mom and I went, we were “greeted” at the door by some trailer trash lady who pointed to the insane number of rules numbered and painted on the wall and made us stand there as she slowly read each rule to us. While we were looking through bins, at least 2-3 employees were in the way and watching everyone to be sure all were abiding by their rules. When it was 45 minutes til closing time, they began to announce every 5-10 min that we needed to stop shopping and get in line to check out, stating that if we had not gotten in line before closing that once it was closing time, we had to leave our items behind and leave the store. Don't waste your time at this dumpy establishment!"
"Went there today for the 2nd time and will not be going again. Workers are very rude. Especially 1 cashier that I got to check out. 9 months pregnant with 2 toddlers didn't want to struggle with moving them from 1 shopping cart on to the other one and cashier yelled at me told me I couldn't do that then hit me on the stomach with the other shopping cart then made a joke as I walked out. Very unprofessional"
"Went there and found quite a few great deals. I found a wrist blood pressure cuff for $5. I thought that was great. Found several more items, too."
"This place has some good items on Saturday sometimes. At the checkout make sure you specifically tell the cashier not to drop your items during processing. Nobody wants to pay for a item that worked but now is broken. It's absurd they can't just ring the item up and hand it back to you. It has to be processed into a empty cart even if it's 6 small items that are fragile"
"For Summer shoppers, there is no A/C except for in the single bathroom there. Otherwise, they have commercial over-sized floor fans, which feels great if you're in the path of the air stream, but not good enough, otherwise. Most of the items are Amazon returned goods, or non-perishable food products that are close to or just past the expiration date - like LaraBars, teas, cookies, snacks and cereals. You'll find several packages with obscured item descriptions, but the sign in front says to bring it to an associate to open, so don't do it yourself. Just use your common sense with doing what you'd do in a department store. I found a few SheaButter products and was lucky to spot a Kiehl's face wash on Friday - so they were $1 each. Today I found a K- Beauty product "Beauty of Joseon" red bean face mask scrub for $3 - retailing for $16-$20 on Amazon. It's a good hour of sifting through bins and getting your hands dirty/dusty, but you'll find something worthwhile. I noticed identical products scattered in several bins, so if you're looking for sets of 2 or 4, you'll have to find them among the other bin contents. There are a few rules posted about not opening taped packages, if items are opened, make sure to return them to their closed state. There are home decor and auto parts, here and there if your car fits the item. Lots of phone cases that don't fit mine and bins of books. There are furniture items beyond the cordoned area, so I can't tell if they're already paid and set aside, or if they're still available for purchase. There are items in the front desk area that's monitored by the staff security, so I'm not sure if they're a little pricier than the daily deal cost. There's an ATM as well in case you don't want the 3% service charge for using debit/credit cards - no checks accepted. It's worth a visit once a month, or week if you're searching for "finds"."
