Big Chicken 444 East William Street, Carson City, NV 89701

"My buddy and I have been hearing about this place since it opened, I heard mixed reviews but I gave it a try. We ordered the original, the buffalo, the ultimate Mac and cheese and 2 drink. We took them home straight from the restaurant hwy 50 to college is a 5 min drive. We cut all the sandwiches in half and sampled them. Sadly the sandwiches were all below or at room temperature. Mac and cheese was good (was the only item that was warm). The original was good nothing to special. The buffalo was good no complaints beside it was cold. My buddy took a bite of the ultimate and he looked at it and took a smaller bite. Now with more of the chicken exposed we could see it was definitely undercooked. It was a sad end to the already troubled start. The staff upfront was welcoming and nice. I hate to have to write this but I hope it gets brought up to the kitchen staff.. the only thing I will say is that we ordered at about 9:30 so I think maybe it could have been we came in to close to closing. I will give it one more chance and I’ll update if its better the second go. Update I have gone back 2 times and the food was good both times and warm"

"I really love this place and it's so nice to finally have a good chicken place in town. We went 3 times within the first week. The only downside is that the breading is too spicy for one of the kiddos. But at least now if I want a decent chicken sandwich, I don't have to settle for the place that's not open Sundays. The sweet potato fries are delicious and so are the adult shakes. I usually like to get the white Russian shake. The service has always been fantastic and the food good. This place is brand new, so some people may experience issues, we have been lucky enough to have a great meal every time."

"The Shaq Attack was good as was the Mac & cheese! I’ll definitely be back. It was a surprise to see a bar in here as well. Reasonably priced and whatever that bbq sauce was perfect!"

"We tried as it opened very recently. Overall I enjoyed it here. Service was good and staff were friendly. I even saw staff giving a refund and apologizing for something to another customer. Not sure, but I appreciated that they are trying their best for being a new business. We had the shakes, my hubby loved, but I didn’t like the flavor of the ice cream too much, it was just super creamy and not as sweet, but still good. All the sauces are amazing, but I wish the ranch was homemade! The sandwich was the best. I got the popcorn chicken, but was really like crispy bits and not a lot of chicken. There is a super long line that is going out the door. The restaurant is clean and decorated nicely. My only big complaint is I wish there was some sort of glass or barrier between the line and the shake station because a customer could literally cough or sneeze and that could get into the prep area while standing in line. Hopefully the food will taste even better as they progress."

"Big chicken was a big let down!! Mama Lucille would not be happy with that dry, no flavor mac n cheese. I think they boiled noodles and threw cheez its on top. The chicken had decent seasoning, nothing special with sauce that reminded me of Raising Canes. The sweet tea was nasty peach tea. A few ppl left after making a comment about the price. I won’t be going back."
