Los Compadres

"We love Los Compadres in Sparks. It's our favorite place for Mexican food in the area. So we assumed we'd have the same experience at the Reno location. We ordered all of the same food we normally do and unfortunately everything from the water to the salsa to the food itself did not taste the same, or as good, as their Sparks location."

"1st time visit for lunch. Prompt friendly service, food flavor was great, not bland like typical strip mall Mexican food, portions were large enough to share and have leftovers. Price was very good for both food and cocktails. We'll be back."

"My favorite Mexican food in Reno! You won't go away hungry! Carnitas were very tasty and huge. The steak with shrimp was awsome! Service was fantastic from the hostesses to bussers to wait staff. I will definitely be back. The only two items they could improve would be fresh tortillas and better margaritas, but everything else was so good, I will be back!"

"A late Saturday lunch was enjoyable at this lively spot. Fresh chips and salsa along with ice water were brought to the table upon being seated. The service was friendly and efficient, although our server forgot to ask how our food was. My companion was able to build his own burrito and it was to his liking. I ordered the veggie fajita burrito which was smothered in their tasty red chili sauce. Beans and rice on the side cost extra and were flavorless. My meal was heavy on the grilled onions and light on the other vegetables. Impressive presentation, but the food could have been better."

"Great spot in a real nice place where immediately greeted and we’re given excellent service. I had the three item combo, which was a a pork tamale, a Chile, Riano, and Chile Colorado serve with melted cheese and rice and beans. You’re running with meal. Chips and salsa try to habanero salsa it’s really good. She had the real fish tacos. It was very good. To drink I had a piña colada and she had the margarita very strong for a surprise that I was wrong but delicious!"
