"We stopped here on a road trip from Reno and we are so glad we did!! It was lunch so we didn't do the full Basque experience but everything we tried was delicious, especially the steak sandwich, a dish I highly recommend. I also had hot tea, served in a proper teacup. The servers were friendly and attentive. We will definitely be back."

"One of those rare finds that are just a gem of an establishment.. Definitely stop in for as authentic as it gets traditional Basque cuisine. Historic old west building and saloon serving up heaping portions of delicious food and outstanding Basque cocktails. Don’t leave without a Picon punch - one is not enough and three is too many. One of my favorite places in the Carson Valley."

"Steak was perfectly done, the oxtail stew was incredible, the bread was perfect… even the fries and salad were delicious. Great service, nice atmosphere, and a cuisine that’s hard to find in the US. I recommend the patxarran cocktail. I would say my $19 steak was the best I’ve had in the US under $50."

"It was my first basque family style dinner, and while we found the sheer amount of food (and wine tho I don't drink) to be worth the cost, we had to use copious seasonings and sauces because it was really quite bland. The waitress was clearly annoyed by my tipsy date who asked for a repeat of the options for a main dish proteins, the only choice available in the experience. I enjoyed the overall atmosphere, and the restrooms were clean."

"Never disappointed, food is always delicious on point and is consistent. Service is friendly and lovely, it's a local place, great fun Saloon, Best Basque in town. Our family treasures this wonderful restaurant. Bring a Big appetite or take your leftovers home dinner is at least a 5 course meal. They offer Breakfast, and lunch!"
