"I loved everything about this place, the vibe was great! We ordered mozzarella sticks for an appetizer and they were the best ones I've ever had so delicious! I could tell they were handmade instead of just thrown into the fryer from a pre-packaged frozen bag. I ordered the beef short rib, it came with mashed potatoes, roasted zucchini and carrots, and a delicious sauce over the rib and mashed potatoes. The short rib was very tender and flavorful and the mashed potatoes were creamy and delicious. I will definitely be coming back here next time I'm in Reno"

"This is a great gathering place that has a local pub feel. The food is great, and the menu is definitely more of a restaurant than a pub. Always friendly Service as well. It does have a tendency to be a little noisy at times because it is just one giant open room"

"The food was fantastic, and the vibe was great. We arrived at a not so busy time, but our server Rachel was less interested with our 2 top. It was clear that the employees' attitude and customer service are lacking. It is unfortunate to have experienced that our first time in."

"The wait staff is very friendly, energetic and made me feel comfortable. I love the atmosphere, with the dim lights, wood paneled walls. They've got a lot of TVs all around, so theres not a bad seat in the house to support your favorite team. The bar also has plenty of video poker, if that's your thing. I had the Vintage Burger for dinner. The onion ring on top was excellent. Light and flaky crust without being greasy. This was one of the few pub burgers where the bacon is actually crispy and not limp like most places. I will say, though, the burger itself was a bit dry and would have benefited from some type of sauce, whether a bourbon glaze or BBQ sauce.... I opted for tots instead of fries, and that was a good choice. The tots were crispy and not greasy at all. The chocolate lava cake was pretty good too. Very decadent. Overall, I am very pleased with The Parlor. I definitely recommend and I'll be back for sure!"
