"We ordered flame broiled shrimp and pork to-go for the family and all of the shrimp was raw and slimey. We called to tell them about it and were yelled at and hung up on. We also got the wrong soup. Absolutely abhorrent customer service, extremely rude and unprofessional, we couldn't even believe how low this place has sunk. Will never be coming again."

"Yes, this is one of those rare treasures you find in Reno. Downtown holds a special place in my heart, along with this place. Golden Flower is a golden gem. I love the food, and it is so exciting. The atmosphere for me is so chill. And the people who work here are really nice. I never had a bad experience here. Yes, there is a bit of a wait for the food. But it's so worth it. Let's start off with the Egg Flower soup. So fresh and full of flavor, with plenty of vegetables, and they do serve you a huge bowl. Enough for two people to share, even three. Then there's the mushroom chicken. This place serves pretty good portions of food, and the mushroom chicken is one of my favorites here. Good pieces of chicken with lots of mushrooms and other veggies. I love that their food is fresh, and in my opinion, cooked to perfection. Mushroom chicken over steamed rice is excellent. Then there's the chicken fried rice. So golden brown and delicious, oh yum, and the rice is so tender and just right. Good chunks of chicken also. These are just some of the things I love at this restaurant. This is truly a gem. Downtown Reno has some great places to eat, and Golden Flower is definitely an A+. The parking is not that bad neither. A wonderful little place with great choices of food. There is something for everyone. So if you haven't been here before, please give it a try. You won't be disappointed. The people who work here take pride in this place, and it shows."

"This is a typical Vietnamese and Chinese restaurant that could be found in downtown Reno area. The food is at the good level, not so special though. There was a little bit of wait time for food when we went there at lunch time. Pho was good with different kinds of beef meat. The rice with stirred fried veggie smelled good with garlic scent. The parking was spacious, easy to park."
