"It's easy to feel like you're part of the family when you eat here. Entrees are $15-$20 a plate, but that gets you large portions, staff that is polite, attentive, and leaves you to enjoy your food at your pace. There's a big skylight in the center and an outdoor patio, but because of cold whether it was closed when we were there. There was a short wait to be seated, but the man at the front took out phone number down so we could grab a drink from the bar nearby while we waited."
"It's good and interesting. I especially like the decor and atmosphere. To start, the red salsa served with the chips seems less a traditional salsa than more of a weakened hot sauce, think Tia's or Cholula. I asked for and received a second salsa which was salsa verde. Consider doing this as well. The beef and chicken fajitas are good, served in a red sauce with onions and peppers along with refried beans, guac, and sour cream. It's quite flavorful. On the side I had a shredded beef enchilada in Verde sauce which was not flavorful. Skip it. My frozen margarita was just ok (mainly crushed ice) and should be skipped as well. They do not serve sweet tea. Excellent atmosphere and decent service."
"We were visiting Reno for the first time last week and stopped in at this lovely local restaurant. It was slow and quiet when we arrived around 1pm but the tables filled up while we were there. Love the decor, our server Melony was friendly and attentive, and the food was delicious. Thank you!!!"
"The restaurant was decorated beautifully and it was packed which is a good sign! The music was overly loud which made it hard to have conversations but overall it was a great experience. I ordered the Chicken salad with a side shredded beef taco, and my husband ordered the combo #6 plate. Both of our meals were delicious! The chips were thick, just how I like and the green salsa was amazing! If we are in town again we would definitely eat here again!"
