I talked to a recruiter and when I was asking questions about benefits and pay I felt a bit rushed as I was repeatedly said I was writing down info. The representatives name is Austin. A little piece of advice. If you want to have a good workforce with good drivers. Be patient if they are asking questions.. I won’t be applying here at all or ever again. "Welcome to E.W. Wylie! Where we give employees broken trucks. Have a O.D. load? Will we give you the correct/ALL permits? NO! Why would we do that? Will we tell our drivers to "go pick it up anyway"? YOU BETCHA! "Just come back to the terminal after you pick it up to get your permits". You want me to pick up a O.D. Load AND go out of route to pick up the correct permits?! WOOOOHOOO! Might as well throw my CDL in the garbage. We also tell our drivers to "get your performance up". As we fail to consider the fact the driver is broke down every week. We're just ignorant! "Why would we give you a different truck? You need to get your performance up first!" Can't get the drivers performance up with a broken truck. And yes, first day working here, I broke down in a construction zone because the old safety manager for Greer, SC, who's now a mentor, told me to "Just take it anyway". Also, my last day here, I met a driver, at Greer, who completed orientation 2 weeks prior, and didn't receive a working truck. Imagine that. Best of luck to all!"

"Some good some bad. Overall I would give them 4 stars. If your looking for a good company to work for I would highly recommend them. Multiple yards. The miles are there for the most part. Something about Texas I just can’t understand tho. Equipment is top of the line. Fully loaded and I mean fully loaded.
