"Staff is super helpful & knowledgeable, atmosphere is amazing, gardens are gorgeous, the tour guides we had were so so sweet, the house is beautiful, food was fresh, gift shop selection was abundant. Can't wait for my next visit! Oh also there's so many photo opportunities, take plenty of pictures! We visited in mid March and it was gorgeous, but I'd love to see it in every month I can!"
"Stop and smell the daffodils! You will not regret taking a tour of Moss Mountain Farms. Enjoyable anytime of year and exceptionally beautiful during daffodil season. Our tour included a scrumptious mixed greens salad with roasted chicken, olives, cucumber, egg, and blossoms perfectly dressed, mint tea, and the most delicious buttermilk pecan pie with home whipped cream. A personal chat with P. Allen Smith and learning about the Heritage Fowl Conservancy Project, supporting 4-H, supporting bio-diversity in plants, insects, animals; along with multi-generational diversity in communities and homes to add richness to our social structures."
"Great day spent on a working organic farm with wonderful your guide Cassy. P.Allen Smith visited with is during our very elegant lunch outside under the tent. He is a very gracious host and allowed us to your his home, gardens and animals."
"I never realized that they do weddings at Moss Mtn Farms, but there are numerous sites that would accommodate anywhere from 50 to 500(or more). We toured when the roses, and peonies were in full beauty. I would love to visit when all 90,000 daffodils are blooming..P Allen Smith has an incredible farming philosophy and his farm demonstrates it. He is a talented painter as well. The Buttermilk Pecan Pie recipe alone makes his cookbook worth buying. Visit, if you enjoy gardening, beautiful views, and interesting facts. Don't visit if you think you'll get to meet Allen himself."
"LOVE LOVE LOVE this place! It is absolutely gorgeous. We went on the tour of the farm and saw the house, cottage, chicken farm, vegetable garden, and English gardens. I love P Allen Smith's show so I really enjoyed it. We had lunch with the group and he ate with us, answered questions, and told great stories. He was so kind and gave autographs and took photos with everyone. The tour was definitely worth it!"
