Costco hearing aid store 12011 Technology Drive, Eden Prairie, MN 55344

"They do a good job testing and price is ok. The weakness is in implying that customers need free cleaning and follow up testing. I am sure Costco is good for many. I bought from another very small local audiology service. Everything was better. My wife bought at Costco. I got much better results for less money. I also am fully satisfied. However my need is less than that of my wife. I regret Costco experience. If my wife wants improvement I will encourage her to go to my provider"

"I would be cautious about going to this location. I came in during lunch due to issues with my right hearing aid. The associate asked for both hearing aids and said it would be about 10 mins. I grabbed some lunch and came back. Upon returning to the hearing aid center, I was told that my right hearing aid had been fixed, but that my left one was now not working and there was an issue with the transmitter. Puzzled, I said there wasn't an issue previously with the left hearing aid. The associate then proceeded to tell me that I had an older model that was out of warranty but that it could be repaired, but would need to be sent out and it would cost $135! Not understanding why there was now an issue, I was highly skeptical. Tonight, I went to the St.Louis Park location. I explained the situation to Chris at this location, who happily took just my left hearing aid and examined the device. In a matter of moments, he put in a new receiver wire, and I was back in business. He did confirm that if the receiver wire didn't do the trick and they had to send it in, it would cost $135 for the repair. I'm glad I trusted my gut to not automatically send my aids in for repair and get a second opinion. I have had fantastic service at St. Lous Park, but less than stellar service with Eden Prairie. Be sure of your products before settling - I had just had my devices serviced 1 month prior!"
