"This was honestly the worse place I’ve ever lived. There was no sense of privacy or security in my unit (thin walls, front door lock very flimsy, and shady people wandering around the property). I also dealt with someone repeatedly covering my peephole with wet tissue paper, among other things. Save yourself the trouble and avoid this place at all cost."

"I can say so much. (More bad then good) Mice mice mice !!!!!! I WISH I would have looked at the reviews before moving in!!! I’m trying soooooo hard to break my lease but of course they’re giving me a hard time. Then when I moved in the landlord said to give them a good review. I didn’t know what she was talking about a review? Usually you give reviews after a couple of months not the same day as move in!!!!! I literally saw 5 mice at once . And all they did was give me 2 mice traps and tell me that I’m on the list for pest control…. That’s not good enough for me!!!!!!! I’m currently pregnant and also have a 2 , 5 & 17 year old and seeing so many mice ain’t once . We packed some clothes and LEFT to family members houses. I feel homeless living here !!!!!! I WANT TO BREAK MY LEASE! They charge wayyyyy to much to have unexpected guess ( mice ) ."

"Me and my family lived here for about the years. I don’t even know where to begin. The area is terrible, I witness someone bleeding out from getting shot when I was walking my dog in 2022. The Swat team also came because a neighbor was threatening someone with a knife and a gun. One building was also caught on fire by a tenant. Also has a roach/mice infestation that they do nothing about. Dryers and washers were always breaking down and would take weeks to get fixed. Worst place I’ve lived at. DO NOT MOVE HERE!"

"This is the worst apartment complex I have ever lived at. I won't recommend this place to anyone. To start with our apartment, it flooded twice due to the neighbors upstairs and once due foundation after the snow melted. The odor was awful. The last straw was when we saw rooches in the kitchen and mice on the same day. In the winter time there is not enough parking in parking lot especially when they are plowing on streets. Then when they plow the parking lot finally a lot of people get towed due to the lack of on street parking in the area along with the city not stating clearly what side to park on. The pool would be nice but there is a lot of kids that are not supervised. Also there is fights often between tenants. Someone tried to kick our door in after just waking in the building because the locks were broke often or the main glass doors were broken often. It gave me lack of security. If, you decide to visit make sure to watch your step cause there is often needles on the ground."

"I have to say, my stay at Wheelock was a GOOD one. My apartment was very spacious, no bugs (EVER) plus the management and staff are fantastic!! (Huge PROPS to Michelle, Kim and Phyllis) They are genuine people and are always willing to work with ya on late rent etc. I only had one maintenance issue all year and it was addressed and resolved immediately! My neighbors were cool and I ALWAYS felt safe and welcome. If ya need an apartment, do yourself a favor and go see what they have to offer!! Thanks again, Wheelock!! ✌ Louis"
