"This property’s unprofessionalism is laughable. They just want your application money and lie to you about not receiving your verification info. I now understand why so many apartments are “Available” on their website. LOL"
"They would not show me a apartment because the resident manager said my driver's license was not me . So laughable, because I am the person on my driver's license, according to the State of Minnesota. The resident manager had me take a picture of myself then asked to see my driver's license. Afterwards she refused to show me an apartment. This is called housing discrimination... I intend to file a report for housing discrimination, soon. The resident manager is from Alabama, but this is Minnesota. Minnesota does not discriminate based on age or race. The place is a dump anyway big ice bars hanging from the soffit and there isn't one elevator on the property. The place is over priced for what you get. This place is not for senior living it's for young people."
"Bigos Management & The Kendrick Apartments in particular are an outstanding place and community to live. They take good care of their residents, keep their door open & provide service in a VERY quick & fair manner. The folks here are good people & it gives a homey type of vibe. Junior (the best maintenance worker here) is a personable, professional & thoughtful person. He got straight to work and got things handled in a timely manner (and this maintenance request was a larger project). I really enjoyed his company and his consideration in getting this done quickly for me. He's the man ! Please keep Junior around as long as he wanna be !"
"Not sure if they are just understaffed, or management is genuinely this bad. Most of the move in process went well, but every single time I have a maintenance request(which Ive had a lot due to their lack of upkeep), I end up waiting weeks at a time for any work to be done. I get it, you don't have enough maintenance workers... Then hire more? Every unit here is $1400 or more, you guys definitely have the funds to hire the necessary help for your complex to actually thrive. There is also 0 communication between the managers and letting you know when these requests will get done. I am currently waiting 9 days for them to obtain a new part to fix my washer. In the meantime, I have moldy, dirty water sitting in my laundry room. The excuse for this is that the maintenance "only shares one shop-vac between the community." Seems legit right? Compared to just running to Menards and fixing a problem, like they are paid to do? Do better, or people are going to start leaving. The building isn't nice enough to warrant neglect to your own residents. I do want to make it clear that I am not putting blame on the one maintenance man, Junior, that I actually see and talk to around here. He tries his absolute best with the small amount of resources and help that this complex provides him. The complex just needs to actually hire more people to deal with requests, or at the very least give him a company card he can go buy parts with instead of making his customers wait for so long as a part is on back order."
"Management is a joke. No one answers their email and half the time they leave an hour early. Then the office is closed without notifying anyone. The train constantly goes by and is loud and disruptive. It quite literally shakes your entire unit. You can also say goodbye to your vehicle while you’re at it. From their towing company taking residents vehicles to catalytic converters being taken without repercussion, it’s ridiculous. If you have any sort of issues with things being stolen or your package being taken all you get is a “sorry” and nothing changes. There isn’t a single security camera or person for the entire property. Maintenance is okay at best, they do what they can to solve issues but nothing spectacular. Management clearly needs new people or better training. Beware if you’re looking for a safe quiet area to rent in."
