"I miss living there so much. I had a beautiful unit. Unlike typical apartment living where it seems like you know what everyone else is doing through the walls, I would often forget I had neighbors. The industrial look with tall ceilings and extra large doors was very cool. The community spaces including the gym, the guest areas, the rooftop, and the garage, were perfectly maintained and clean. The tenants are all very respectful. I never once had an issue with any other tenant while living there. I loved living there and would still be there if not for getting married and moving into a house. I almost thought about keeping the apartment anyway. Great home for a family."

Initially, the property management lacked presence and responsiveness, but with the arrival of Enrique from RHOME, everything changed for the better. One aspect I appreciated was Enrique's initiative to keep residents informed by posting monthly newsletters in the elevator and common areas. "Stayed in one of the furnished penthouse apartments for 3 months while caring for family in the hospital. Staff are great and they even purchased additional furniture for us since we work from home and needed two dedicated workspaces. The view is decent and the building is very quiet and feels safe. I would definitely recommend R7 Lofts to a friend. The internet is fast and I enjoyed playing with the smart home features and Alexa boxes around the apartment. We appreciated the extra security, and the mobile keys are great, but when we had guests come visit we had to meet them at the front door."

"Best luxury apartment building in Downtown Saint Paul. Furnished apartments are beautiful but a bit expensive. Staff is very attentive and answer my calls and texts pretty much 24/7. They take customer service to a whole new level, unlike any other property I’ve lived at. The building is super quiet. I’m not sure why the building isn’t full, but they have quite a few empty apartments. Security department is incredible and the building feels safe. You can only get to the floor you live on and need to use a fob to get around the building. It seems they put a lot of effort into security. They recently added huge metal plates on the doors. I saw someone trying to break into the back door late at night. They must watch the cameras because the police were there before I could even call. Building staff showed up to meet the police. They searched the guy and found lots of burglary tools and he was taken away in handcuffs. There is unfortunately a crime, homeless, and drug user problem at most of the apartment buildings in Downtown Saint Paul. After talking to people from other buildings, I definitely wouldn’t live in any of the other buildings around here that don’t seem to care about all the crime. Building only has one elevator and it is usually fast. It was down one day, but they fixed it the next day. Free coffee in the lobby is nice, but you have to fill the water thing manually which is a little hassle. Would be nice if they got a more commercial machine. Building internet is fiber and is crazy fast and they have lots of technology in the building. I was really impressed they put dimmer switches in the apartments and you can control everything with your phone."

"Building is fine but mostly used for short-term rentals. The only staff you can get a hold of on a regular basis is maintenance. They advertise pet friendly but provide no space for dogs to relieve themselves and all adjacent properties chase you off constantly. Pets aren't allowed in communal building spaces. There has been shattered glass on the sidewalk for over a month making it unsafe for pets. Parking ramp is cramped and difficult to maneuver in with no space for visitors. There was cosmetic water damage to the mail room two months ago and they are still doing repairs. The fridges don't produce ice. They do, however, have disposals and in-unit laundry. Management is impossible to communicate with, even for staff. Management has also changed hands at least three times since they opened a couple years ago. Management have not acknowledged lease termination for several tenants. Security is all remote, nobody on site. The "secure" doors don't close well."
