"Stayed here for 2 years in a 1BR unit. It's directly beside bus stops that take you downtown SP or the blue line to Minneapolis and near good schools and walking distance from a grocery. It's nestled between the twin cities so you're never far from either, without the usual shady sketchy vibe of a lot of the near-city areas. The heating is spectacular, almost excessive, but if you hate winter or aren't used to the cold yet, this place will make you forget that it's winter outside. The flooring creaks so it takes some getting used to and footsteps from the units above you are audible but that's par for course for older developments. It's nothing you can't get used to in a week. In exchange you get walls that are thick that I can count the number of times I heard my neighbor's voices even when there's a party going on. That's pretty good. Parking is already included with the rent and is assigned. There's no garage but hey, for the price you're paying for the apartment just having off-street parking for free is already a steal. I would stay in this apartment for good if I could but I now have my family with me and I have to find a bigger place that allows dogs."

"Nice and clean"
"This is the building next time mine. Owned by the same people. The new management has been terrible for the last 2 years now. The first time I talked to Pam the new building manager, she tried to feed me things to say that would be negatives towards the on property landlord. I had nothing bad to say about that person, but I knew that because she wanted some dirt she could use against the landlord that I have now known for 9 years, I made an enemy out of Pam at that moment cause I didn't play along now that this is her show and it is her show. Ever since then, it's been one thing after another with her trying to get me out of the building. She has systematically removed all other people from the building who had lived there even longer than I have. We all shared a common thing. We had been there too long. Pam wants to remodel and up charge all the apartments and has done so now all but mine and a couple others. She laughs at the thought the owners care how she treats people. She thinks they just care about the money she is making them, and maybe that is all they do care about which is how she justifies treating people. She allowed a bully tenant to force a pregnant single 19 year old to move out just months after she moved in. They gave her all kinds of rules including how late she could come home and at what time she needed to go to sleep. Pam was clever and conniving in convincing this girl to move elsewhere for her own good and peace of mind. That was allowing bullying. Because Pam herself is a HUGE bully. I had heard Pam speak poorly about such a young girl being alone with a child, they pretty much tortured her for months, then less than 2 months after the baby was born, they made her move out. Again, all the other people here long than I, have been moved out as well. That girl was even a new person who moved in after another new person was in and out. I pay 100$ less a month due to when I moved in and how much they can increase my rent per year. This has been a thorn in Pam's side and box on her bucket list that is still unchecked. But that is over now to. She finally got me after a year and a half of torturing me into hating where I had lived peacefully for 7 years until a year and a half ago when she took over. She has no heart. Lies, makes threats and does everything wrong even if she is right. She has threatened me at least 3 times and she doesn't seem to even realize what she is doing is harassing and making threats. It's like breathing air for her. She looks at me as a stain that won't go away so I have to pay for that. She has a complete power trip and is one of those types that should never be in control of other peoples lives literally. She is a racist and even a sexist, to her own gender. I have talked to most people who lived here that are gone now, who all agree she tried to up charge them way too much, way too often. Everything has a fee now. I have never made a complaint myself. I have been told by several neighbors that I am a great neighbor. While Pam pretty much tells me the whole building hates me and complains about me non stop. The people who work under her are truly underlings as they snicker and laugh while clearly standing behind her as people who fear losing their job if they don't humor her insanity. She is quite simply one of the worst people I have the displeasure of having to deal with when before she came along, everything was really really really good. Until Pam took over and let impressing her bosses at all cost lead to every single long time tenant being forced out. She even told me that if she wanted me gone, I would have be gone; and, has said to me, I don't want to threatened you, but. Funny, I am gone now. She wasn't lying then, but that has been the only truth she ever told me. And, it was also a threat."
"No frills, but well run. We just updated our lease for another year."
