The Oaks on Pleasant

"I lived in these apartments from 2021 to 2023 here is the good and the bad. I would highly recommend this building as well as buildings owned by meets and bounds management. The good A. There is someone in the office most days during business hours that you can talk to if you have an issue. B. Their maintenance team incredibly responsive and we'll even help you put up things In your unit if you need the help. They even came and swapped out my thermostat for a smart one that I had purchased. C. It's a quiet building. You don't really hear a lot. The people are super friendly. They don't make a lot of noise even if they have dogs or kids. D. The units are a great size, enough space, your washer and dryer and unit. E. It is pretty close to a good restaurant. A business center so you have a dentist, eye place, doctor's office near you. Couple food places coffee. Pretty good location. Easy to get to the mall. Easy to get downtown. F. Anytime I had an issue it was dealt with pretty quickly and I did not have very many issues but it was still dealt with quickly if I did. The landlord super great. G. The ground units have very nice patio spaces. The fireplaces are nice. The bad A. It is an older building we did have some issues with fire alarms going off unnecessarily The heaters didn't seem great, however they were replacing the heaters when I left. I would have liked some newer smart features. B. It was a bit pricey. I was paying $1,5 00 for a one bedroom bath however, I feel like those were the prices at that time."

"Really enjoyed living here. Neighbors were very pleasant, management easy to work with. Clean and very pretty grounds. Easy to get to, and availability of garage parking for more than one car. Was sad to go, this was definitely the nicest apartment I ever lived at."

"They hustle you for your deposit they want you to completely turn the apartment around for the next move in... they will charge you and take your deposit if it’s not perfect when you move out ... they say it’s your job for the normal wear and tear ... no damage no trash removal but will still take your deposit Wanda was nice at first then was rude and hungry for money at the move out I cleaned everything to a reasonable manner to the point where there was just minor normal apartment turn over required, they take advantage of the system... good place to live if you don’t mind doing there job for them when you move out or don’t care about your hard earned money being took because the place wasn’t perfect when you left ..my advice don’t clean anything when you move because they will charge you anyway for something make them earn it !! They are thieves"

"Lived at Oaks on Pleasant for two years and loved it! Matt and Wanda in the office are great. Location is fantastic and is close to everything. Plenty of parking either in the underground garage or the adjacent parking ramp. Very quiet, peaceful buildings with friendly residents. Pool and hot tub are wonderful and rarely busy. There's a reason why this place is almost always booked! Only reason we moved is because we bought a house for our growing family. Highly recommend to everyone."

"If your gonna move on there prepare to never get your deposit money back. I paid $500 for deposit when I moved out everything was cleaned out I wouldn't say the cleanest. But they claim they cleaned for another 4 hrs got new stove top and also new carpet which was not even bad at all. I've only lived there for a year. Parking sucks. Only one space in garage they give you a ticket right away if you park on the visitor just for a few hours. Bunch of rules. And it's not even a super nice apartment either. Lots of thing broke down while I was living in there. Be wise and choice another apartment if you decide to rent one."
