Baymont by Wyndham Bloomington MSP Airport

"This is great, if you're looking for low-priced, efficient, and conveniently located. We had a great time here. No frills, but there IS a pool and a microwave in the lobby. Mu only real quibbles were the lack of mini fridge and the hand soap; but the latter is because I'm a delicate flower who is allergic to life."

"Upon arriving the very first thing we noticed is that the front desk individual is not friendly and actually kind of rude. The entire places smells like someone is consistently smoking weed. Our room smells musty, other than that it appeared clean. We had difficulties getting the air/fan to work and the windows do open; however, they also do not lock (First floor room). The air conditioner also was super gross and dirty with bugs and large balls of dirt and dust. The pool room is very cold, their heated pool is freezing, and their hottub is colder than our 6 year olds bathwater. When we asked if the temp could be raised we were told maintenence is not in. The Next day we asked if maintenence was in they said yes but refused to allow us to talk to them. He poked the water and said it is as hot as it can go (not hot at all). The free wifi does not work and does not let you connect. Where our wall connects to the ceiling it is green and looks gross. The free breakfast has stale cereal, waffels, and juice."

"Our room was not very clean, there's is dirt and dead bugs in the air conditioner/fan. It smelled musty in the room. The guy at the front desk in the late afternoon/evenings has no customer service skills and is just plan rude. The pool was freezing cold and the hot tub was barely luke warm and the air in the pool room is colder than the pool. When I asked if he could turn up the heat in the hot tub he said he can't. I didn't expect it to be perfect, especially for the price. But I was really looking forward to a nice hot, hot tub. Oh and the Continental breakfast consists of a bagel, cereal, or a waffle, oh and white bread. Those were the only options. Also, half the time the hallway smells like marijuana."

"I had a few positives to mention but after night 2 I can only say that the place was clean and smelled good, other than that, all negative. No fridge or microwave(which was not mentioned), my daughters room had no TV til middle of day 2, there was nothing to the breakfast, no fruit, only hot waffles nothing else warm to eat, the pool/spa, which is the main reason we picked that place, only had pool access, spa shut down on day 2 also. Needed a blanket in middle of night and they told us to come get it ourselves, no cribs available like we were told, the shower had no hot water on check out day, for as much as we paid for 2 rooms and 2 nights should have been more things available. We will never stay there again! Huge waste of money!!"

"We just needed a warm, quiet place to sleep near the airport. Did not want to pay for a lot of frills we would not use. This room suited our purpose. It is just minutes away from MSP. We enjoyed waffles for breakfast."
