"Dirty, smelly and they don't even give you a real tour "unless you apply". No way am I going to waste money applying for an apartment that they're scared to show me the garage is and they won't even show me the pool. They didn't even show me the apartment type that I requested in the many emails that I had with them. I was looking for a studio and they showed me a one bedroom that was their "corporate reserved" apartment that they use for showings and it was disgusting. I will definitely not spend my hard earned money on this gross building."
"I’m very disappointed where I live at. I moved in late September found out there was roaches in my apartment at the end of October. I have asked multiple times for pest control to come out. Pest control does not even spray the Whole apartment they only came and sprayed my kitchen and bathroom. I thought the whole point was to spray the whole apartment. They’ve came out at least two times and I still have roaches. I understand they’re under new management but I live here and this is disgusting. My grades are suffering because I live in a horrible environment. I can’t bring my nieces or nephews over here anymore because it’s so dirty in the hallways and it smells like smoke all the time. It sucks because I’m stuck in a lease for another seven months and I don’t wanna pay to live in a disgusting environment. I am looking into getting an attorney, I recommend not moving here. Like I said, I understand their new management, but new management is rude. They don’t really have compassion for the people who live here. My building has not had an actual locked door in a month and it’s crazy because they come to the buildings all the time I would think they would fix that immediately but I guess not. I have a met some of the maintenance crew, and they are very nice, I feel bad for them because they have a lot to fix. Overall I still have a hope but right now I’m disappointed. And management please don’t sit here and say “we understand your concern, and we would like for you to come speak to us personally” because I’ve already done that and you guys have done nothing. or at least from my end, I haven’t seen any change. Also, all the work orders that I put in they market as complete even though they never fix anything. And they blame it on maintenance. I don’t like that because I’ve actually spoke to maintenance and they’re really good people. One time my door was broke, and this maintenance guy came and fixed it and he was really nice. he did this after hours, so I really appreciate him. Do you know what the lady in the office did… she closed the office without making sure I actually could get into my apartment. what if that maintenance guy never came to my apartment? What if I actually did get locked out of my apartment the whole night? What would I’ve done then? It’s these scenarios I think about all the time because at this apartment complex, it could actually happen."
"Just watched their new maintenance team remove a contractor from a unit that I've watched this guy working on for the past several months. The guy offered his name and was even telling them when he was there last and they didn't seem to care. These people do not know what they're doing. I don't feel safe in the building myself because all entryways are not secure. Door knobs are very loose and some of the doors in entryways are broken by the homeless population that routinely walks and wanders throughout the hallways in the middle of the night looking for an open unit to enter into. There are what I assume migrants entering into the garages and I watch it every night they don't have keys but because the garage is on secure they're able to just walk in. This place is not something you can just put a Band-Aid on they need a complete rebuild on a few of their buildings but they won't do that because of the expenses. This is really sad I can't believe I literally just saw what they did to somebody who has been working here. I know he was working here because I've watched him interact with staff members and other contractors it's ridiculous what they just did I hope he sues."
"Please, please do not move here, especially if you have children. Unless you are a fan of FREQUENT fires/or smoke damage, it's not worth risking your life. We lived here for almost 4 years and moved due to constant fires. A large fire broke out and spread quickly, starting in the unit across from us, nearly trapping me and my children in the fire. And we were forced to stay at a hotel, out of our own pocket until we could go back in. At first, we tried to stick it out, things happen, sometimes fires happen and I can understand that, it can beyond control. But they happened so frequently, the final straw was a 3 fire in a singular year, luckily in a different building but still another large fire. Originally people assumed it was human error but it was said to be a wiring issues. It also explains why you are forced to have rental insurance and are not allowed to rent unless you do. I do want to say, I don't blame the office people, I'm sure their just doing there best but I really wish they would warn people. Regardless, I don't hold it against them, I blame the owners. I know my one review may not make a difference but there is also a Facebook group dedicated to the crimes and activity that goes on at Glenn of Burnsville, I highly suggest taking a look at the group and doing research on your own before you consider living here. Just for your own safety and especially if you have young children. I don't really like leaving bad reviews, I prefer to focus on the good places I find but this place is not good and is not worth the risk.."
"Nasty nasty place could never live here. They allow illegal immigrants to live in the premises. All they want is money. Nothing has been repaired. They know fentanyl is being smoked in the hallways. Sewer is leaking from the basement. The new management is very rude and don’t know what they’re doing. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY!!!"
