"Its really ghetto. My friend has lived there for 3 years and the pool has been closed all three. The caretaker lady in their building is rude. Theres a definite pot smell as soon as you come up to the door. The hallways smell and their apt is small as hell and so expensive. I wanted to live there a long time ago, but my friends moving in opened my eyes."
"Management needs to learn how to treat people with respect. Place looked decent though"
"I tried emailing in to inquire about any possible available apartments they could offer, I was met with short responses “We don’t have any available” and “Check back in November”. No “Thank you for your interest!” Or “We would love to help but…”. Their responses have deterred me away from working with this company, and that was just via email, i don’t even want to imagine how they treat existing residents. Wording is everything, short responses are seen as rude and thoughtless. I would recommend trying to put more thought into your responses to any inquiries."
"I most definitely would not rent here if you own anything nice. There are a bunch of thieves here. I have three cars broken into, catalytic converter solon. And apparently it is been a regular thing and the apartment thinks the only action needed to be taken is write a letter on the pegboard telling people to be careful. When the right thing to do would be put up cameras."
"I lived here for 2 years and just recently moved out a few months ago. Do not live here !! Upon re-arranging our bedroom we found mold on the wall near our bedroom window and towards the carpet under the window. I was shocked as we clean regularly but never would we have noticed this until we moved the piece from the wall near the window. I was disgusted as the window was approximately 4 feet from our bed. I called that day and left a message for the office to let them know and asked that someone take care of it asap as it was black and smelt horrible !!! 4 calls LATER someone finally answered and told me "oh yea you shouldn't put anything against that wall that the window is on"... MAYBE SHOULD TELL PPL THAT BEFOREHAND?? What was their solution? TO PAINT OVER IT!! So now we're going to pretend it's not there? Made me question how much mold is under all the paint in every room? Not to mention the mold that started to grow on our bathroom ceiling near the ceiling fan!! They said there is a grate on the roof that snow falls into so that is what caused the moisture and told me to KEEP MY BATHROOM FAN GOING AT ALL TIMES TO PREVENT THIS !! Excuse me? Are you going to pay my already high electric bill? Bottom line they just cover things up instead of solving problems. No wonder why me and my boyfriend always felt sick while living here! Then to top it ALL OFF they tried to screw us on our damage deposit when we moved out!! We got our carpets professionally cleaned (as required) when we moved out by the company THEY suggested and use regularly she said. The carpet got cleaned and looked very nice after! The company told us since they have a contract through Baneberry that they would automatically send them an email with our receipt showing we got the cleaning done. Perfect right ? NOPE! When we got our damage deposit back they tried to take out $120 for carpet cleaning THAT WAS ALREADY DONE !! When we called to discuss this, the lady who answered said "oh your right we have the receipt from you right here".. OHHH so you knew we got the cleaning done but tried to charge us for it again regardless ? This place is a scam and they try to screw you out of your deposit and don't care about tenants getting sick from mold !!! ABSOLUTELY DISGUSTING!!"
