"If I could give this place negative stars, I would. First, this building doesn’t answer their phones or get back to you unless you know someone in the building that can go into the office and talk to the office staff for you. We completed an application on August 24th, 2023 for unit 301 (1145 sq feet) and paid the application fee at that time. We paid the deposit for that unit on August 29th and signed all of the paperwork for that unit at that time. We were told by Megan that the unit wouldn’t be ready for move in until the 2nd week of September. We were in contact to see the actual unit but we’re continuously given the run around or being ignored. Come September 13th, Megan switched the date and said the unit wouldn’t be available until October 1st. Today (October 9, 2023) we came to view the unit, but when we got here, we were shown unit 307, but told we would be moving into unit 207 but it wasn’t ready. Something didn’t seem right so I asked about the square footage and was told it was 966 square feet. I asked the office worker what happened to the 1145 sq ft unit we were supposed to move into and checked the paperwork we signed and it was for unit 301. I then asked how many sq feet unit 301 was and the said 1145 sq feet and the unit was occupied . I asked how long the unit has been occupied for and they said for a month. I asked why the unit was given away if we signed paper work for it and put a deposit down for that unit. We were told Megan made an audit and changed the unit (Not mentioning this to us, not speaking with us about it) this is why it took almost 2 whole months to even look at the unit (that was changed to a different one) putting us in a position to potentially be homeless due to the unit being too small and us notifying our current apartment that we were moving out and would not be renewing the lease. Megan is very unprofessional, disingenuous, deceptive, and a fraudulent office manager who misleads potential renters and puts them in unfair positions."
"Megan and sava was awesome and so much help for me and I truly appreciate them for everything they have done for me and after everything I have been going through, thank you ladies so much ❤️"
"I love living at the burnes building! They keep the building clean and management is great! I’ve never had an issue while living here. The location is walkable in downtown Hopkins."
"I was looking for informations on a 1BR but the lady in the office, "Patricia" or whatever her name is, was very rude. First she didn't want to let me in when I dialed the office number, but she was clearly in the office. Then she was condescending to a young lady visiting her sister. A mailman came and as soon as he spoke to her in Spanish, she changed her mood, and opened the door, which let us all in. But still her attitude towards us didn't change. She didn't wanna give me any information s when I asked for it. All she said was "we don't have any apartments available" ,and that I was free to apply at Hopkins Village which is a 55+ living"
"Hopefully they can get it together for future tenants. Kind of frustrated with the customer service experience. I inquired about a 1br floorplan and had to ask the same person 4 times in different email messages, within the same thread, for a link to apply if they were accepting applications. After receiving 4-5 "stock" messages about information I already received, my original question of them not having any available 1br units was answered, with another stock message. A little disappointing that it took such a long chain of emails to get a simple answer. Its like they weren't even reading my question and just had auto-reply emails on or something. Not promising in terms of management and effectively dealing with inquiries. But to save anyone else who is looking at this property some trouble, I doubt they're accepting anymore applications and they're apparently full on 1br units, which should probably be information available to everyone, not just when you ask them directly. If its not available it shouldnt be advertised on third party websites, or your own. Kind of seems like a bait and switch waste of time."
