"What an absolutely amazing experience it was finding and spending time in this shop! SO welcoming and professional at the same time. The staff were some of the most personable people I've met in my life! I will recommend this business over any of the other local stores ESPECIALLY after my experience today! We originally came in looking for a pistol and left with SO much more. Every single staff member I met today not only is passionate about what they do but they're very open to teaching you about anything you'd like to know. I went in anxious/nervous due to past traumas and I expressed that to the team- not only were they understanding, they were inspiring, very well educated, and were also excited to do it along with me! I particularly want to mention David who was our RSO today and just from the time spent in the range I not only learned I was left eye dominant but he also helped talk/walk me through the feelings I was having and helped me build confidence throughout the whole situation. I'm so appreciative for him and the whole team working the shop today. I signed up for a lesson with David this coming month and I'm absolutely excited. This place is so safe, welcoming and patient! Definitely check them out. Thank you guys so much for this experience today(and thank you for caring about guns and safety as much as you do!!!!)"
"I am so grateful for choosing to Mountain Valley Armory to get proper gun education and training. My trainer was Jesse and he was knowledgeable, patient and just flat out wonderful! I felt comfortable and safe while learning. I was able to practice and my teacher, Jesse, was so spectacular that I was able to hit my target! I wish I could give Mountain Valley Armory 1 million stars and I am so excited to continue to practice at this fine establishment. Thank you to all of the wonderful staff and the owners!"
"The ladies up front, Heather and Tanya, were inviting and historically informative. Jesse did a super job teaching me how to shoot after a decade gone by. We had sooo much to laugh about with the two gentlemen, it's gonna bring me back to this spot and local ranges."
"I highly recommend Mountain Valley Armory if your looking to purchase a gun, practice at an indoor shooting range or get one on one lesson’s with highly skilled instructors in a variety of things. I had a lesson so I could be more confident while using my pistol, and thanks to Jesse I walked out of there feeling 100% more confident and comfortable! I’ll definitely be going back!"
"We visited in December and purchased a tactical shotgun. The gentleman helping out was patient and offered to help put on the sights etc. After getting the shotgun home I saw a unusual black marking in the barrel the same gentleman that helped out let me know we could bring it back anytime. After I spent a while cleaning and poking I realized it was a gas charge port that had some black string in it, lol gun is fine and we appreciate his consideration as that was a stressful time in general due to covid and shortages in general. I would definitely drive from our ranch in Mena to buy a firearm here in the future. UPDATE: The following is about the shotgun, not Mountain Valley Armory after a couple years of ownership. This is a hungry gun. It will fire as fast as you can pull the trigger. That said it is heavy compared to a typical manual load tactical shotgun such as the Mossberg 500 series and similar. Ordered up the ten round clips which give the opportunity to fire more rounds but the gun gets a bit more unwieldy in close quarters."
