"Nice, small, quiet park. Good hiking trails that we could also ride our electic bikes on. Only concern, we made our reservations in May, and not once did we see anything that the water was shut off. We have been here 3 nights and have not seen any park employees. The garbage dumpster is full and signs worn about bears."
"It's a bit of a different park. It brings a bit of history into a park setting. It's a nice park recreation area and some good hiking trails. The stone bridge in great. Only complaint is the hiking trail bridge is closed down and it is not listed anywhere. Adjustment should be made to the hiking trail maps for the closure."
"Surprised how nice this small park is. The highlight is a unique small swing suspension bridge. Park is very small so I wasn't expecting much but i really enjoyed it. It's very quiet there and you feel like It's all to yourself. It has a big, and one of the nicest day use / picnic areas I remember in the MN park system. Place is very well maintained with big oak, pine, and other trees. Trails are very limited butwell maintained. It has a small man-made swim area with a nice beach . The campground is very small. Beware of mosquitoes and poison ivy off the trails. The town of Warren is nearby and is cool small town."
"Beautiful park. Wonderful trails that aren't too long. We plan to camp here next summer."
"Great place to visit with the Larson Mill, two bridges (stone & wood) going over Middle River & huge common area with a playground, pool & picnic shelter. Plenty of hiking trails around the area, too. No one was manning the park office, though and one bridge connecting the park with the campground was closed. The campground seems nice."
