"I have rented here for 3+ years. I do like my apartment despite windows that won't open and owners refuse to fix. There are 2 community washing machines and dryers, only 1 of which operates correctly. The back parking lot floods, there are only 8 garages for 16 apartments and the landscaping leaves much to be desired as the weeds have taken over. The hot water heater isn't large enough so taking a warm shower isn't' always possible. In my apartment the oven takes 40min to heat up to 375, and the dishwasher isn't worth using as I have to hand wash after anyways. I guess the saying of "you get what you pay for" might have held in this case however, the rent has increased 3 times in 14 months. The apartments are in a nice neighborhood but due to Lincon Elementary school lighting their parking lot at night there isn't ever "darkness" so you will want to buy black out curtains if you choose to live in the Lark Street Apartments. I must say I have great neighbors, love the close parking and I am less than a mile from work."
