About the Business
Helping Hands Inc. Thrift Store is a non-profit organization operated by a partnership of 24 churches in Benton County, Arkansas. Established in 1976, Helping Hands has been providing assistance to those in need for 46 years. Located at 2602 Southwest D Street in Bentonville, our thrift store offers a wide variety of items including clothing, furniture, books, and more at reasonable prices. The proceeds from the thrift store are used to support our assistance programs, which include a large food pantry serving over 900 families each month, utility and rent assistance, prescription medication assistance, and more. Donations of clothing, furniture, food, and monetary contributions are always welcome and greatly appreciated. We rely on volunteers to help run our store and sort donations. Our goal is to meet the needs of Benton County residents and create a community where everyone is treated with dignity and compassion. Visit us at Helping Hands Inc. I’m always greeted from the wonderful staff upon entry, the assortment is well organized and well priced and you can literally find everything you’re looking for (and not looking for)! "I'm so happy and thankful for the help. They open at 10:00 am, so you can get help from the food pantry there (bring your ID). They also help on utility bills if you need it (bring your drivers licens/ID, and social security card). I was told to get there between 6:30 am - 7 :00 am. It is limited, so get there early. If it is cold, bring a blanket and dress very warm. You will not be able to go inside until 10:00 am. There is an uncovered sun room and some chairs."
