Dollar General

"The manager Jess that works there is extremely rude. I went in with my cousin to get her a pot to cook in. They had 1 pot left but the handle was broken. I had no problem paying full price but thought I would ask if they could discount it any. As soon as I asked she YANKED it out of my hand and said very unprofessionally and rude "Nope and I am not selling it to you at all. Thanks for giving me something to credit." I stated to her I do not mind paying full price if that's the issue, that I was just curious if a discount could be applied, and she persisted to be even more rude and start talking to me as if I was a child. That was my first time coming into that store and I will never go back. I have dealt with rude workers before but I have never been treated that way before. I understand people have bad days but that never gives a person a reason to be so rude to their customers. She does not need to be working in retail with that attitude."

"Dollar General has a good mix of price points. It has some items as cheap as the major big box store and some as cheap as a dollar. They carry a variety of items too, from food, to housewares, to clothes. Handicap accessible"

"I don't live around Bentonville but I have been to this Dollar General 3 times in the last 3 days and every single time, something has gone wrong... On my end, not theirs. I don't know the managers name but she's got to have more patience than anyone else I've dealt with in DG stores. The store is always clean, well stocked, price tags are noticeable and she's a stickler for the rules. The other employee I have dealt with (a young man with long hair)has been polite, friendly and helpful. I wish the DG store I live by was even a quarter as clean and stocked and good employees. The only thing I couldn't find was purple shampoo for silver/bleached hair."

"This J Street location has a better selection than the one in Pea Ridge and I found a mountain dew mystery flavor mountain dew voodoo that was priced $1.25 like every other mountain dew yet I was charged $1.90 which was wrong but the clerk said that's what it was so I proved her wrong and she said she'll deal with the vendor. Here's the kicker, after I purchased them and she corrected the price I said while they are new so no one would know the price and she said I hope you like Skittles cuz that's what they taste like. it's a good thing my son wasn't here because it made me to surprise him although I would have just went ahead and return them because the lady actually ruined the whole point of mystery flavor. Nothing against the store just against the person."
