"One of the worst rental experiences I have ever had. Don't let the good ratings fool you, there are many that are fake and fabricated through the property manger, Teresa. Be advised before moving here, Teresa also lives here. Meaning she will be invasive of any privacy you may have. Unfortunately, my unit was directly next to hers. Something she failed to disclose after moving from another state. So, I had the pleasure of Teresa's dog incessantly barking through my work meetings and constantly aggravating my PTSD. I could also barely park at my unit due to poor vehicle accountability by Teresa. The pool is filthy and they fail to mention that it's only open for a brief period of the year. I had awful AC the entire time, that Teresa refused to get fully repaired. Even though maintenance recommended a condenser replacement. I had to buy a standalone AC unit just to save on energy bills. Also be careful of the dangerous landscaping at the entrance in addition to the lack of lighting at night. It cost me thousands in damage to my car. After living in these conditions I had no choice but to leave. However, Teresa wanted to charge me 2000 dollars for leaving the lease. I disputed the charge and asked for these issues to be brought to management. She lied and said she would reach out to them, instead she sent me to collections. These are sketchy and fraudulent behaviors by Teresa that are unacceptable. Do not rent here. Edit: Kim from Upper Management stepped in and reviewed our case. She handled things promptly and professionally."

"I became a resident of the Markham Oaks apartment community and I must say I give a 5+ from the leasing office manager Teresa Smith she is such an amazing lady to the maintenance team. It is a very small and quiet community where it's clean and everyone stay to themselves. My apartment is beautiful and I wouldn't trade it for the world. Thank you Teresa for everything you have done."
