"I rented a 17 foot crestliner for a week in the lake, super sad. No one prepared the boat in spite of 2 weeks advance notice. The boat still had fishing rods and lures on the deck, the electronics where half removed, cable missing. The young man staffing the location was told to just switch the plot from the other boat - not happening - no manual and no training missing cables- 1 hour spent after a trip back into Detroit lakes to get it. Sadly we will vacation without a boat."

"Do not rent a camper from here! I rented a 29' camper for the last weekend in July. We had several problems with the unit. Issues included: broken stabilizer support for rear of camper, water tank was not filled as requested, water heater tank plug was not installed(no hot water), the gray and dark water were not empty and the electrical converter to convert down to regular plug in for power was missing! Plus we had to pick up and drop off the camper ourselves. All they did was drop a couple hundred off the bill. If we hadn't been camping next to family member cabins, we would have not had access to hot water or electricity. Very poor service from this vendor. We had family that rented from Wolds instead both campers had no issues plus they delivered/picked up for about the same price!"

"My wife and I rented Scootstar Beachstar E=bikes today. We rode around the Big and Little Detroit lakes and over to Dunton Locks and part way around Lake Sallie. We average age 60 and we and the bikes still had plenty of energy when we were done. We had not ridden a bike in at least ten years and the assist from the bikes was pretty cool especially when going uphill. The bikes worked great and the guys at the store are very friendly."
