"I, personally, have had to use more than several methadone clinics across the country due to occasional travel - with that said, the Valhalla Clinic in Minneapolis does not get the credit it deserves for efficiency and professionalism. Over more than five years, I HAVE had a problem or two, but my average dosing day is walking in, dosing in under 5 minutes, and walking back out. The volume of clients that they process means they operate as a well oiled machine - but without sacrificing care or quality. That includes the whole staff, from nursing to front desk to counseling to financial. You will see many negative, one star reviews... what I have to say to those people: if you follow the rules, you won't have those problems . The single genuine problem I have had has been that the Urinalysis center they subcontract to has given wildly inaccurate results for me several times, but I have been able to work it out with my counselor."
"My boyfriend has been in the program since last May. This place is doing nothing but shortening his life. He needs to be released so he can get proper care!"
"I have gone to university Ave alliance for since 2017 they have done nothing but target me accuse me of treating staff selling pills I don't even have. They have had me with 5 counselors since june.. this clinic right here I wouldn't be surprised if the nurses cut the methadone.. I'm on 105 so.edays I feel like I did t even dose and I'd say why this stuff a different color a different texture etc. Oh it's in your head... I borrowed a f Homeless man yesterday 5 dollars inside the clinic and Many ppl seen that. I gotacall sayi.g I have need terminated from the program. Just like that. Do not go here"
"The new crack epidemic of 2023. Unfortunately all the good counselors do not stay. Every session I’ve came out of, I have felt shame, guilt, and anxiety after. I wish they could prepare or have better sympathy and not treat you less than them, because we all have addictions."
"Valhalla Place (formerly Alliance Clinic) has saved my life. I have been abstinent from street opiates since beginning treatment in 2013. I have been tapering for about two years comfortably- with no pressure. Never a billing problem. Throughout those years I've only had three counselors (I've heard horror stories of patients having a dozen counselors at other clinics) my current counselor Nikki is amazing. She has encouraged me, believed in me, and given me hope. Nursing is always a joy as well. They're always friendly and talk to me about what's going on in my life - shout out to Laurie and Charlene. All in all I am very grateful that Valhalla Place has been a part of my recovery. With methadone you have to want to put in the work to recover. To do the right thing when you're not at the clinic."
