Reviews of Innovative Psychological Consultants
"They seemed alright until I was diagnosed with ADHD. They said they'd send me a report which I'm supposed to take to my doctor (as if I have one lol), but they never sent the report. When I've tried to contact them, I don't get any response. I also found it weird they didn't even suggest or at least ask if I was interested in therapy or anything. Like I got tested for ADHD because I can't function like a normal adult, and while maybe meds could help with that (that I'll never get because they won't send the report, and even then I don't know where to go since like I said I don't have a doctor), I don't think they're magic. I've spend my whole life being one way and if meds change that, don't you think I might need some guidance? Anyway, it feels like the whole thing was pointless and I'm going to have to go somewhere else to get re-diagnosed since they're ghosting me. They did take my insurance so I didn't have to pay much so it's not a big hit, but it's still a time waster and the tests pissed me off so I don't want to do them again."
"There are a handful of people in this company that have terrible attitudes. Way too expensive. Like over $100 for a virtual appointment that lasts 10 minutes? Get real. I just got my bank account hacked and drained and the voicemail I got back was not kind, especially for someone that works in mental health. The only positive I have is the doctor that diagnosed my ADHD. Im currently on a payment plan for $150/month which I can’t afford but they always call and try to rudely get more out of me that I clearly don’t have, especially not getting my money stolen. I would never recommend this place to anyone based on price and treatment."
"If there seems to be the need for an actual therapist, or you’re feeling not safe, or just the random suicidal stigma of seasonal depression, please call 988. We are all booked up and not taking on new clients. 911, is for actual emergencies, like therapist social worker sisters using HIPPA to make falsified claims to medical record after destroying evidence to the contrary and then causing the death of a parent by maltreatment, which is covered up by using status of license like a weapon. As far as getting your first amendment rights across, this is my opinion by constitution, thanks."
"During my first appointment, a therapist and I went through an initial questionnaire of strictly yes or no questions, but after the questionnaire I was told that I have nothing to be worried about even though I was never given an opportunity to actually explain what or why I was seeking any sort of intervention in the first place. He told me any issues I was having are just because I'm old (I'm only 27). Even if my issues are mild, there was clearly no desire to actually connect or help. I just felt like I was a burden for even scheduling an appointment."
"Unprofessional. Called me several times to “confirm” my appointment or else they would cancel. Called back to confirm and everything seemed ok. Until I received 2 missed calls the day before my appointment. I work over nights so it is hard to get a hold of me during the day. I called next day, SEVERAL TIMES, at 9am to confirm, my appointment yet again, but no answer was received. Showed up to my appointment and conveniently the phones were working because the lady at the front desk was on the phone. She told me the dr had canceled my appointment which I wasn’t that upset about. What set me off is the tone she used with me talking to me like I’m stupid or an inconvenience to her day. She wouldn’t let me finish my sentence and I had to start yelling at her to let me finish talking. Honestly the whole cancelation wouldn’t have set me off that bad if it wasn’t for the lady at the front desk who obviously needs sensitive training when talking to people. Please do better @@ lady front desk and loose your attitude."
