"Most definitely one of the WORST clinics I have ever been to. The front desk staff was extremely rude and not friendly. I waited an hour and within that time frame, they pulled 3 patients back who checked in after me. After seeing this, I asked the front desk staff how long my wait will be, she said another hour. In my opinion, she should’ve communicated at the beginning that it would’ve been a 2 hour wait. I came in to be treated for the flu/strep. My Tylenol was wearing off causing me to have terrible body aches and chills. I asked the staff if I could possibly get some medicine during my wait and she said no. I will not be returning to this clinic. Horrible."
"Wait times should be expected for any Urgent Care situation and I think Park Nicollet does a great job providing you with information/options to minimize that time as much as possible. For each clinic, you can check "high demand times" on line before you leave the house and use the "save a spot in line" appointment option that again reduces the time spent in the waiting room. Highly recommend. I've had great experiences with the St. Louis Park Urgent Care Clinic and grateful to have the option to be seen within hours rather than wait weeks to see my primary. Staff is highly efficient getting you from check-in through triage to the actual appointment with the attending. I've had to wait to be seen....but overall care has made the visit here worthwhile!!! Appreciate the job they do."
"The only person who didn’t treat me strangely was the woman at the front desk intake. Recently had a work injury, involving stitches… the nurse treated me like I was asking for drugs, the doctor literally told me that my finger shouldn’t even hurt anymore… there are stitches! I only came for a note for work (I should have waited & went to my regular doc). These people treated me so strangely, hard to believe this was the same urgent care I used to trust in my younger years. Work on your people skills, have some compassion! This experience was traumatic enough. Sad"
"Never again. I had a blood draw for a screening and before the Somalian nurse even began to draw my blood I knew there might be an issue by the vibe she was giving me. I told her my veins are rolling to give her a heads up for stabilization of my arm vein. Instead of stabilization she grabbed the needle and started poking and prodding around saying "your veins do roll" before even finishing the draw or getting the needle in the vein. Worst experience ever, this is why people hate blood draws. I work 7 days a week so 4hrs at an urgent care is a time commitment but I think next time I would actually just walk out. My arm still hurts from her fishing around. Please train these people correctly, if I'm having issues(I'm healthy and lift weights) I can only imagine what other ppl are going through. also I had to ask for sterilization post draw and it was almost like an argument. Since when is basic hygiene an issue. There needs to be sterilization before and after any sort of injection, especially when there's 10 different fabrics covering this somali girl I don't feel like it was sanitary at all, pure nightmare fuel.."
"Wonderful experience, again! Doctor and nursing staff were super thoughtful, the registration staff were quick! I think most people need to realize that urgent cares go based on severity, hence why the wait at times. Also, those who say “better off at the emergency room”, please think about the resources and time you’re taking away from people who have legitimate life and death circumstances. Be patient and nice to the staff people, thank you again Park Nicollet!"
