"I have an oak dining room table, chairs, and buffet that was from the early years of my children's upbringing. It was finished in the golden oak of those days - really yellow and scratched as it was our main table. I couldn't get rid of it as it holds so many memories for me. I took it to Furniture Restorations to be refinished with a darker color. Grant and Joanie could not have done a better job. It is absolutely beautiful. They are honest and upfront and really good people. I would trust any of my furniture with them. Their prices are very reasonable - if you have ever refinished anything you would understand the hours of labor it takes. I have since had other pieces done by them and I was equally pleased."
"A true craftsman, Grant takes the time, thought and effort to make an antique piece of wood shine. He treated an heirloom Widdicomb (Grand Rapids MI) mahogany dresser like a work of art. He was able to restore the mahogany to its original luster. Jobs like this take time... be patient - Grant’s product is well worth it."
"I took my Ethan Allen bedroom suite from 1965 to Furniture Restorations. Extremely impressed with the quality of work. I wish I had taken pictures beforehand but the maple really stands out afterwards. Thanks again!"
"Spoke to Grant. I was inquiring about a piece of furniture that we wanted to have worked on. Before he even looked at the piece, he basically told me to buy something new. He said it would be too expensive to have done. I asked Grant how much (giving quotes without viewing the piece of furniture is not good business), but his quote was in our price range. He didn't seem to want our business. Bad customer relations won't garner new business. I'm sure he is talented enough, but his pompous attitude is setting the bar low. He said he is the only one in NWA that can do the work."
"Stripped and restored 70 yr old maple. furniture, came out beautiful. Very knowledgeable individuals, and just good people."
