"Last weekend my frail 102 yr old mother found herself admitted to Mayo's New Prague hospital when a bed was not available at her local hospital. She received attentive, thorough and compassionate care from her admitting physician Dr. Tiegs, her nurse Paula and to the many others who contributed to her care...from the friendly faces at the front desk to the housekeeping staff (I found the facility spotless.) Yes we noticed. We as a family were kept updated, well informed, and treated with both kindness, and respect and always made to feel an important part of her care team. Don't underestimate the quality of care by the size of the facilty; your hospital measured up to the best of them during a very stressful time for us. As a retired hospital caregiver, I know what excellent care should include and how hard that job can be. It is much more than just the technical stuff. My gratitude for giving that full measure to Mom and our family."

"Dr Becker in the ER was amazing!! We brought my dad from AZ to get him into nursing home but couldn’t get referral from AZ drs. Had to admit him because we had no way of caring for him. My Oncologist in New Prague is so compassionate and a sheer genius. I would trust her with my life….oh wait, I have! My Oncology/Infusion/Chemo nurses in New Prague were the absolute BEST!!! Warm blankets and incredible care. These nurses deserve so much recognition! My surgeon in New Prague (who is no longer there) was kind, attentive and went the extra mile. Dr. Slater was simply amazing. This hospital is stellar. Keep up the good work!"
