"If you’re staying in room 205…choose a different unit or place. We rented in Aug of 2022 and the person who “cleans” the unit needs to be FIRED! No exaggeration, there was 2” of mold growing on the ceiling in the back bathroom! Not to mention that the shower in the same bathroom had mold at the bottom of the tub. If you feel like standing in 3” of water when showering, then this is the unit for you! The carpet looked to be at least 15-20 years old if not original. When you walk in, the first thing you notice is the 15+ large stains on the carpet all the way to the back bedroom. The kitchen faucet wouldn’t turn off, the kitchen light sometimes worked, there was a musty smell in the unit, and the list went on and on. Absolute letdown for a unit that had so much potential. Don’t stay in this unit unless you know the issues were taken care of, especially the mold."

"Sounds of bird and water softly hitting the shore. Water so clear you can see to the bottom. The people we met are so nice. The rooms are so homey, plus you cannot hear anything going on outside when windows and doors are closed. We had a good time and found needed relaxation"

"I am more than pleased. Everyone is friendly and polite. The condo was clean and well supplied. The indoor and outdoor polls are nice. Plenty of movies and games to choose from in the office. Spacious accommodations. Not modern but cozy with good mattresses and living furniture. I paid 1250 for one week with no extra fees or taxes. Payment by check was pretty old school but it all went smoothly. I am having a lovely time, especially with the lake view from my deck. A lot of folks are enjoying the boating and fishing."

"This is my 3rd time here. The rooms are clean and comfortable, and the lake view is great. Parking is VERY difficult, especially if you have a boat and need electric hookup. The fishing on Detroit Lakes is marginal, but is much better on lakes close by. Pool is ok, wish they had a jacuzzi. Will be back since this is a reasonably priced place to stay."

"What a great place to stay!! We had our Grandsons ages 4 and 6 along with some other family members staying with us over Memorial Day weekend. Granted we were blessed with great weather so that made things even better. The kids loved both the pools and we were in #107 so the sandy beach was right out the front door! Ron and Carol and their helpers keep the place clean and are so nice and helpful! I would stay here again in a heartbeat! It was supplied with everything you need including clothes soap and a charcoal grill! Thank You Ron for your great hospitality, keep up the good work! Also wanted to mention it is within walking distance to many things."
