"It's a nice little park with a small playground, a decent sized walking trail, and It has rest rooms and Parking for the handicapped, I haven't tried fishing here yet however I have seen a lot of people fish here so if You live in Fort smith it might be a good place to cast a line without leaving town."
"This is such a good little park if you’re wanting to take a walk. Even when it’s hot the breeze is nice. Plenty of shade. Lots of geese to look at from a distance. Always clean. The children’s area is accessible and well managed. Plenty of seating, bathrooms, and space to enjoy the lake."
"I travel the country with my cat and having read the reviews about this park wanted to bring him here and take some pictures. As there are several trails and the path around the lake is sizable, I was planning to spend a large portion of the day here before moving on. We made a couple circuits and got some nice photos then decided to take lunch and let Loki rest before wandering around some more during the afternoon. A Ft Smith PD unit came up on us around 1230 in the afternoon and asked to see my ID while informing me "there is no overnight camping at this park". It was lunch time and I was watching reels on my phone while my cat took a nap. I had to inform him several times I had no interest in camping at this park because he kept repeating himself for no valid reason. I wanted to take pictures of my cat while he walked around exploring. If it had been later in the evening, it might have made more sense the way I was approached, but this was egregious. I cut our visit short as I felt we were being told to move on down the road... Not a very welcoming feeling. Follow our travels on Facebook at The Adventures of Little Loki Man for more great pics!"
"Beautiful park with walking trails. Places for the kids to play. Docks to fish and see the ducks. It's a large enough park that even if the parking lot is full there is still plenty of room for your family to enjoy the park. Also the walking trails are really nice this time of year with the leave changing."
