"We stopped here on our road trip driving through the area with our two year old. The playground was nice, the size of the park itself allowed people to spread out, and it was in a good location, but the area within the park needs a little love as it's very worn down. I refused to step foot into the bathrooms because they were dirty and unkept."
"So glad they've got the lights that brighten the parking lot, and even the big light by the dock. They were also doing some serious construction work on the bathrooms so I'm guessing they will have those up and running pretty soon as well. Always some sketchy characters down there but from what I can see it's not dangerous or anything like that...."
"Usually a quiet environment down here. Not used alot since it's a much older park in the area. Nice place to sit in a chair and read while the husband fishes. ☺️"
"I visited Fort Smith park today and although it is very nice, the citizens of this area that use it need to take better care of the bark park. I was sad that someone let their dog dig up holes and some of the play ground area was torn up. And, even though there are bags to pick up the dog mess, people have ignored the hint and haven't been using them. We can do better as a community. It is a shame that something new and beneficial to OUR area has been torn up already. That said, I did manage to take pictures that I wanted to share. Someone please fix the bark park!"
