"Went in to be seen. and the front desk lady was prompt and respectful. Sat in the area for two others to be seen not unreasonable at all for an urgent care. Was seen by nurse and doc quickly who did exactly as I expected but in a very respectful and professional manner. And very quickly in and out with what I needed. Overall great experience for an unwanted UC visit!"
"I went to Maple Grove urgent care I was extremely dehydrated, nausea, and some upper right quadrant pain. I tried the call ahead line, but it had already closed. Arrived at urgent care at 12:30 p.m. I waited for 3 hours because all the call ahead people got to go before me. I finally got a room, talked to the doctor about how dehydrated I was and my other symptoms. He thought it was better to get blood tests and an ultrasound. After I came back to my room I was expecting to get some hydration. But because they closed at five, they denied me fluids. Even though they were still treating other Patients. I was told that in a third world country when someone had cholera they would have to take tiny sips of fluid. I’m not in a third world country! So I left still being extremely dehydrated. I made a complaint, and they told me that they won’t give fluids if they suspect liver problems. That is why I didn’t get fluids. I have worked in the medical field all my life and I know that is not true. Also, I had gone to ER with similar symptoms the first thing they did was give me was fluids before they did any blood tests. I will not go back to Park Nicollet for urgent care. Possibly, change clinics all together."
"I’ve had better experiences at the Plymouth location vs maple grove. The nurses always seem very judgmental here when you’re trying to advocate for your health, and then get mad at you for not knowing the exact dates/times of seeing other doctors/taking meds when it’s clearly in their system. The triage nurse is also pretty rude. I had a horrible experience last weekend, have been dealing with a god awful cough for the last two weeks and tested negative for Covid seven times. Went in a week after symptoms started because I wasn’t getting better. The doctor I saw basically told me that since I tested negative for Covid she wasn’t sure what else it could be, and sent me home with antibiotics. I had a visit with “virtuwell” who then told me they were worried about pneumonia and that because park Nicollet didn’t offer any testing, I should return to urgent care. So I did. The triage nurse “Kat” came off rude because I was in the day before and “didn’t give the antibiotics enough time to work”, and that I shouldn’t do what “virtuwell” told me to do since they can’t “have their hands on me”. The doctor I saw, I believe was Dr Featherstone or something like that, was even worse. Was extremely rude and couldn’t figure out why I was back in the clinic. I told her if she felt it was a waste of time for me to be there, then I will leave. Her response was “well you’re already here so we will test you”. Thankfully, my test results were normal. Was told to continue my antibiotics, give them more time, that this was something viral (which antibiotics will not treat so why was I instructed to continue?), and to put a wash cloth on my chest because that will help me. They continuously throw codeine at you for a cough and then when you come back because you’re not improving, they treat you as if you’re lying. I told the doctor that I just wanted to know what was causing the cough because no OTC meds were helping, nor the meds they were prescribing. The doctor told me she can’t tell me what’s wrong with me but it’ll go away in 3 weeks. In the medical notes it was written down that “patient didn’t cough in the clinic and had no fever” I had a low grade fever, and was coughing the WHOLE TIME. I wasn’t going to write a review because it wasn’t that necessary, until I went to a complete different practice and got answers. I was seen across the street with north memorial, the triage nurse was EXTREMELY friendly, and the doctor heard my first cough and immediately told me I had bronchitis based off the sounds of it. After listening to me describe my symptoms, he was able to diagnose me with asthma as well and prescribe me a spacer along with another medication park Nicollet didn’t even bother to offer. If you can afford it, you’re better off going to the north memorial urgent care across the street at the maple grove hospital. Yeah the wait times suck, they will no matter where you go, but if you’re going to wait, at least you will get quality care for it somewhere else. Leaving a two star review for the very rare instances I’ve met with providers and nurses here who actually didn’t treat me like garbage."
"Was placed in a room for 35 minutes while I am bawling my eyes out to have to walk up to the receptionist to ask what is going on to have her start giggling while on the phone saying "Yeah I know not everyone understands we get busy". More than unprofessional and reason why I don't do to This urgent care. Tried it one more time thinking things would be different but of course not. Nobody says a word to you. If the security guard didn't stop me I would have been gone. All that needed to be done was some good communication while my insurance is paying for my visit. Poor service from start to end."
"We love this location. The Pediatric Urgent care is amazing. The staff is knoladgable and considerate. This is the only urgent care we take our child to!"
