"My friend Catherine has been showing off her skills at hair dye for years on Facebook, and I’ve wanted to give my daughter a hair day. She was able to get straight A’s all year and made me very proud. In recognition for her hard work I let her decide her haircut and color for summer. Since this is her first foray into hair color I had no idea what was possible for SUPER dark hair, the smell after the treatment, the cost(my lay person estimate was about $300), the possibility for color change or fade, saturation, upkeep, etc. Catherine was able to offer solutions to my concerns, guidance when I knew too little, and a caring hand and heart while taking care of my daughter. Thank you for making a kid feel special, it means a lot to her self confidence to have autonomy and choices in her hairstyle. The process takes time, and patience, but there was no odor from the color. It smelled like Aussie shampoo or something. In a world of diminishing service and quality, I like to highlight the people and companies that not only do the job, but work with a picky schedule, tactfully advise what actually is possible, give a ball park estimate that is within 5% of actual cost, give updates and deal with mom and dad. The attention to detail and prompt communication made it a breeze."
