"Had some pretty good finds, digging through is always fun and you can come up with some really good deals."
"New to BB, had to leave without the items I was interested in purchasing because a rude lazy worker decided to let us know that if our children are more than “3 feet away from you” or not constantly “in arms reach , you will be asked to leave and then banned for a year. Clearly there were several children and they were not constantly within “ 3 feet “ of their parent as children tend to do. I don’t appreciate wasting my time driving and looking through bins for all that time to be interrupted and “warned” and threatened to be banned for a year just because my child isn’t touching me the entire time in the store. They need to understand majority or customers are parents and we should be able to shop just like any retail store we normally can browse as well as our family. I was worried due to all the previous bad review here about how more than one customer has complained about how they treat families specifically children, the managers being rude (they are!), and the bins full of paper products/trash/and broken glass pieces but clearly this is all true in my experience. They don’t have this notice regarding children must be within 3 feet at all times, are not allowed to look in bins, and being banned for a year if your child does so posted either."
"I had the worst experience at Bargain Brothers NLR. I stayed from 11pm- 12am, left for an hour due to severe weather and came back and went back to waiting 1 - 7am left to get a blanket and came back and waited again until 9:45am. We were first in line. A woman complained on me for leaving even though my husband stayed. The manager told me that even though I was a loyal customer and had waited several more hours than her I had to be the one to go to the back of the line , which by then was very long, because I left to get a blanket. I could have lied when he asked me if I left but I was honest. It felt horrible to wait for that long in the cold and the rain to be the one turned away. Is it fair that someone can come to the store at 6am and report someone for leaving for a few minutes even though it’s not a posted rule any where inside or outside your business for petty reasons because I was first in line and they wanted my spot and the owner agrees with them. I will never waste my time and go back there again to be treated that way. I was not rude to the owner but I did tell him it was an awful way to conduct business and alienates loyal customers. The worse part is he said he would never have said anything if no one complained. Since he is so worried about complaints from customers, he now has a big complaint on his hands. He told my husband he could be doing other things than talking to us, well if you feel you are more important than your customers by all means please go do those things that you feel you were kept from doing by having a conversation with a customer who braved cold and rain for many hours to shop at your store. I refused to go to the back of the line after waiting as long as I did and left. I will not be back! Worse yet, under this system, you could show up and be first in line and someone lies on you and says you left because they know a rule you don’t “since it is NOT posted” and unless you can prove you stayed you will get booted to the back of the line."
"I have went several times. Most of the time I get great deals. A couple of times I was charged for more than the amount of items I actually got. Unfortunately they don't care. Just a reminder to always double check the total number of items you have versus what you are paying. I have noticed lately that if it's not Friday the tables are filled with trash and broken pieces. No fault to the store but people tend to open everything and dump it out which results in incomplete and or broken items."
"Have gone to this place a few times in the last couple of weeks. Items are priced differently each day. For instance today is Saturday and everything in the bins are priced at $10.00 per package or box or whatever it comes in. Yesterday was $15 per unit. Thursdays are closed for restocking. Everything for Wednesday is $1.00! Check the photo I have included for daily prices. Also go early, the line starts long before it opens at 10:00am. And the lines to pay are long(but fast moving) as well. TIP: if someone has taken items out of a bag, just find the bag it goes in and put items back together. For instance if a pillowcase comes as a matching pair, find the one it came with and put it back in the package so you won’t get charged for two items."
