"If the price rings up wrong they won’t honor the price on the shelf. Ashley, who identified herself as the store manager said they would rather have upset customers than have loss prevention in the store. Doesn’t make sense for them to come for a simple price correction but if it’s true it still seems a little backwards to me. Idk."
"if i could give a 0 star review, this place would get it. i tried to go in to buy an item from behind the counter, yet there was nobody at the counter. so, i sent my friend to find a worker to come up and assist me. he did not have his identification on him, so they would not come up from the back of the store and assist me. i had my identification on me, and i was the one who was making the purchase, but when i went back to confront them, the ‘workers’ were standing and talking, and then they refused to even assist me, even after i showed them i had my identification ready to be scanned for the purchase. they refused to even come to the front to assist any customers, and there were no bells or any other item to signal for assistance. this is the worst customer service i have ever experienced."
"I bought this pepperoni today along with some other things to snack on in Staff Meeting, only to discover once I got back to work that they were molded and expired. I went back after work to make them aware and to be compensated. The young man who checked me out was no longer there. I made the cashier aware, asked for a refund; she told me she couldn't give me my money back because I didn't have a receipt. Ok, I get that. She told me I had get some more pepperoni. I told her I didn't want any, and asked if I could get something else of equal value. She said, "No, I can only give you the same thing." Trying not to act ugly, I said, "Ok...alright." ALL of the packages were expired and had mold, except for a couple that expired in November, but they looked nasty too. I came back to inform her of my findings...she still would not cooperate! So, I told her I was going to take pictures and post about it. She couldn't care less! When you leave people in charge of your business who have NO BUSINESS ACUMEN, they will ruin what you worked to build. Lesson for me: From now on, when asked if I need a receipt, my answer will be YES! Also, slow down enough to inspect products because clearly making sure only the BEST is on the shelves isn't priority anymore. I'll never go back, and will make sure everyone at my church/job gets the memo as well."
"Managers do not take their job seriously at all . The store is never open on a consistent basis. Days where the store isn’t open til after noon ; then there’s days where they close before 6. This store was a waste of time and money . Dominique is a manager and apparently she has no clue to manage a single thing."
"When this store first opened I thought this was a dream come true , because we live in the same area as the store. And my thoughts were this is great I won’t have to go in town near as often . This is a rural area for the most part and I’m sure most of my neighbors felt the same way. From the start the staff was excellent and I’ve never seen a more organized store. As time went on I began to lose faith in this particular DG . Now it seems like the employees and mgrs are setting their own times to work . Basically I never know when they are gonna open up or when they close , it’s ridiculous . Today for example , I needed afew items and I was glad they were so close but when I got there , the store was closed and this around 3:30 in the afternoon on a Saturday. The first time that happened it was 1:30 in the afternoon and they placed a sign on the door apologizing but they had a truck making deliveries and they were short handed. My question is why bother with putting a store in my neighborhood if they are never open ? It isn’t because business is slow because plenty of people including me are spending money there but only if we can get inside the store. I’m very disappointed in THIS store. Basically I’m glad you are here but I wonder why you are."
